As Dante and I walked back to the house after my moment of freedom was over, he asked me how my head was. I'd completely forgotten about the lump on my head after one of Dante's men had knocked me out before kidnapping me.

"Sorry about that, I guessed you wouldn't exactly have come willingly, yes?"

"Um, no I would not have come willingly. You could've at least tried asking nicely though."

He shrugged, that was the limit to his niceness.
He walked me back to my room before a man approached him, telling him that some man called Bianchi still hadn't paid some money that he owed. Dante became visibly pissed off and left me to go deal with his mafia shit. I sighed, his nice moods never lasted long, something always had to ruin it and piss him off, though admittedly, that something had been me on more than one occasion.

I sat back on my bed and laid back, closing my eyes. My life was basically 50% sleeping and 50% watching Netflix at this point.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been days since anything eventful had happened and I was honestly started to get so bored. The few times I'd seen Dante he looked stressed and I didn't dare try and speak to him. I sat, waiting for my next adventure to the De Luca house. Was it bad to think that I couldn't wait to actually get out of this house, even if it was to go right back to another mafia house.
I was becoming desensitised and used to all the men walking around with guns and the smell of smoke was permanently embedded in my senses. Dante hadn't given me an exact day as to when I'd be going back to Alessandro, but I secretly hoped every day was that day. I sighed, switching back on the tv, this was literally my only source of happiness right now. In the midst of me wondering who paid the Netflix bill in the house I was interrupted.
"Buongiorno, bella."
"Hi." I tried my best to judge his mood so I knew how much self control I had to have over my sarcasm, he seemed to be fine today.
"You'll be going back to the De Luca house today. Nico will explain to you what you need to do. You need to get ready, he'll pick you up in one hour."
I couldn't even help visibly being excited to finally get ready and leave this house. Dante seemed to pick up on that and gave me a funny look.
"Are you happy about that?"
"I mean no, but yes, I feel like I've been locked up here forever."
He looked somewhat hurt by that.
"You're not caged, I let you out."
"I'm still a prisoner Dante, it's not really much help being a prisoner in the garden instead of in here."
He didn't seem to appreciate that comment and his face dropped a little. He didn't say anything more and instead left the room with a brisk instruction,
"Be ready in one hour."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nico came to pick me up, 45 minutes late.
"Wow, how punctual."

He rolled his eyes at my comment.
"Whatever, I was hungry."

"Wow, so you left me to go get food?" Even though I'd already eaten, it was an opportunity to be petty and I took every one of those.

"Yes, why would I choose you over food?" Nico said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"You could've taken me with you."

"What? So you could tell the whole pizza place I'd kidnapped you? Sounds like too much effort to me." Fair enough, I may have done that.

I rolled my eyes at his sassiness and looked out of my window, enjoying the change of scenery.
