"Where are we going?" I asked as I got into Alessandro's very expensive looking car, not that I knew anything about cars though, I could barely drive.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Okay."

Alessandro drove us around 30 minutes out to a cute little fast food joint.
"Aren't you Italian?" I asked, "I thought you were supposed to live on a diet of purely pizza and pasta."

He laughed and I was so mesmerised by his dimples that I tripped over the stairs leading into the diner.

"Ow- fuck."

Alessandro's smile dropped and he rushed to lift me up off the floor. Gosh, I couldn't help but embarrass myself, infront of a hot guy too.

"Shit, it just jumped out at me."
Alessandro held back a laugh as I dusted myself off.
"Anywayyy." I said as I tried to pretend that did not just happen.

We ordered, well,  Alessandro ordered for us both and paid at the front as I waited in a little booth in the corner. It's not like I had any money to pay anyway, I was a prisoner.

"So, do you live far from here?" He asked.
I stumbled a little. Where did I live? Shit, I didn't even know where we were right now.
"Um, you know about 30 minutes away from you."
"Ah, you go to school around here?"

Shit. I had to change the subject before he tripped me up and decided to kill me.
"Umm, yeah, hey have you tried their blueberry shakes? They look kinda good."

"No, but I can get you one if you'd like?"

"Hmmmm, no you know what I think I might be allergic to blueberries. I ate a blueberry cake this one time when I was like 9 and-"
I was cut off by the waiter arriving with our food. Thank goodness. Knowing my mouth I'd end up making the situation 100x worse.

We chatted casually over our food. Luckily Alessandro didn't ask anymore questions that could land me in some shit. I also completely forgot about Nico and what I was supposed to be doing. I lost myself in the moment and I actually had a really good time. Alessandro didn't seem like a thug or a criminal or a bad person at all. Sure, I was aware he probably wasn't an angel, but he sure seemed like one.

He was sweet, and I felt myself actually getting along with him. I knew Dante would likely be pleased about the fact that Alessandro was coming to trust me, but I wasn't sure if I even wanted to tell Dante anything that could lead to Alessandro's downfall now.

I internally yelled at myself for having such strong emotions, but I couldn't help but look at Alessandro as a troubled, sweet guy that had been wrapped up in business that he didn't want to be involved in. I felt a small wave of disappointment as the large black gates of his home became visible. He got out of the car and led me back into the house.

"You can stay a little longer, if you'd like?"
I remembered that Nico had told me he'd get me at 10 and I glanced at the huge clock in the grand entrance of his home. It was 9:55.
I felt mildly disappointed as this was the best time I'd had in a little while.

"No, I should get going."

"Oh." Alessandro looked equally as disappointed,
"Well it was nice seeing you again, do you need a ride?"
"No no, I'm fine, but thank you, I had a good time." I smiled at him and turned around to walk back out to where Nico had dropped me off.
