I'm sure you all have read stories about people who have a timer or the name of who they are or something along those lines. Since I feel like if you are going to write fan fictions you need to do a few cliche stories, and this is it. I'll do a couple of these, so if you have a pairing you want me to do I would be happy to do it. The first three ships will be the ones I do. it if I get multiple people saying "Parvill!!!!" Then maybe I will do a fourth . ☺️

I grew up hearing stories about what it was like for my parents, grandparents. How magical it is, to go from a world of black and white to color. To know you have found the one. . .I've even seen it happen a few times at the mall. The way they light up, looking everywhere trying to take everything in.

It hasn't happened to me yet, my friends say tell me some people don't meet their soul mate until they are in their late thirties. Everyone has found the one though, there has never been someone who hasn't found who they are destined to be with.

I'm twenty two now, fresh out of college and still waiting for my life to change for the better. Most of my friends have found their soulmate and spend most of their time with them, not with the guy who is living in a crappy two room apartment.

"Hey Sips, wanna go get a drink after work?" I look up from my computer to see Turps leaning against the door to my office.

"Where's Minty?" (A/N since we don't know her name its Minty.)

"She's out of town visiting a friend who is still seeing things in black and white. Besides, can't I go out and have a drink with my buddy?"

"No, because Minty has you on a leash."

"Most nights," he laughs.

"How do you find someone before me?" I don't mean to say it out loud but it slips out.

"Hey! Fine, I won't buy you a drink."

"C'mon Turps, who knows when you'll be able to go do something again?"

"Fine. See you at five."

~'~.~.

"Ya know what, Turps? I'm gonna get really drunk tonight." I take a swig of my beer (or whatever it is he drinks) and nod a few times to confirm.

"What? Like you said Sips, when am I going to get to do this again?"

"Knew we should have invited Lewis." I pull out my phone and shoot a message to Peabody, telling him to come join us at the bar.

Nearly an hour later he shows up, sitting on the other side of Turps and ordering something weird.

"Hey Lewis, do you mind if Turps and I get really drunk?"

"You're actually asking this time?" We laugh. "A few rounds. Then I'm leaving."

"So what I'm hearing is if we can get super drunk over the next hour or so, you'll get us home?" Turps looks at me out of the corner of his eye.

"That's what I'm hearing." We raise our glasses in a toast.

"Oh balls to it." Lewis clinks his glass with ours.

~a few drinks later~

We were all a bit tipsy by now. Lewis kept muttering about needing to go home, but immediately following that with a few sips of whatever he was drinking.

"I -" Lewis hiccups. "I think we should go now." We grumble a bit, but all in good nature.

"This was fun, lets do it again," I stand up and stumble. Turps, being the big noob he is, falls flat on his face.
