Our stories say that when the universe was created, not all of it fit.

Pieces fell off the whole, like water overfilling a glass, and those bits dropped into cracks and were forgotten.

Our stories, the oldest ones, the ones most people no longer remember, say that my world , Ariyan , is one of those forgotten places, hidden away in a pocket of existence, for the most part separated from the human world or as they call it, Earth.

But not entirely.

An indestructible bridge kept both worlds alive and in order. For although each world was a mirror image of the other. Each held something the other didn't.

A truth.

Earth was known for its evolution, it's technology and of course human beings.

Ariyan was made of magic and mystery

Not everyone in Cane believes that legend, though. Why would they?
Their world is their world, and why would there be another? Most common folk don't like to think about unsettling things.

Doing so would challenge their feelings of being superior and wise or at least wise enough to go through life, to have nice meals and a warm bed at the end of the day, and to know that there are no other worlds besides their own.

But I knew better.

Now you must be wondering who the hell I am?

Well here goes nothing..

I am Adiha, named after the fourth raising sun of Ariyan and also the most beautiful. Just an opinion, of course.

Anyways...

I was born in a world full of tradition and magic. My city was the central point of this world as it was the place where magic thrived. It was the most fundamental place in our cosmos, without it there would be no life

This is really where my story begins.

Adiha 2195 Year of the rising sun

There was a piercing scream. One that could be heard from the busy streets of Agrah to the noise polluted air in the flea markets of Punju

My madman had just given birth to me.

It was said that my appa's heart broke into a thousand pieces as he heard her yells of pain and determination, but the second I was placed in her arms, they say they say that the sun glowed brighter with love and adoration for me and so I was named Adiha

A few hours later and the prince of Ariyan was born. Snow fell from the heavens and the moon and stars were more beautiful that night than any other.

It was said that people had felt a joy so great and tremendous as they watched King Rayden reveal the prince from the 7th tower. He was named Dustaan after one of Ariyan's most loved warriors.

My Appa and madan were both born of nobility and served the king as warriors, after they had succeeded in ending a war that plagued our lands for long time.

Both were advanced to serve the king as his advisers and Prince Dustaan saw more of my parents during the day than I ever did.

It's not that they didn't love me because they treated me with all the parental love a child could ask for, it's just that I missed them.

And perhaps this is one of the reasons I started to hate The Prince.
