and this is how nature
starts to breathe a little easier
its cold inhales in barrenness
and exhales in blooms
God does leave fingerprints
unlike anything else
because they are seen to the human eye.
His thumbprint a primrose
pointer finger a lilac
middle a carnation
ring a daffodil
pinkie a rose
He smiles in sprigs and buds,
and if there has ever been a time to
re-anything
reevaluate,
rethink,
restart.
it is now.
