A weeks later...
It was now a week since his first day. A week and Peter got accustomed to this time. The only downsides he had were, no electricity, not much hygiene, no internet, no way to communicate with his friends, and his mentor figure, no way to communicate with Aunt May. Another downside was that there weren't really many times he could wash, nor washing his teeth. It bothered him so much and that was why he started to make his own toothpaste. With a toothbrush. It was relatively easy to make. He even gave it to Merlin, and he was impressed. By now they were best friends. There was as well the fact that he found out something...
Let's just go three days back...
Right now Peter had some time and that was why he was helping Merlin out. And all went well until he felt a weird feeling coming from his entire body. It was kind of like a tingling sensation, yet it felt different. Like it felt weird and he felt this before, but just couldn't remember when. His brows furrowed as he continued helping out. Lucky as Peter was -aka his parker luck- something suddenly exploded and a fire started. Which wasn't possible. Like he was cleaning with water so how?!
"How the hell did you manage to do this Peter?!"
His head snapped into the direction and there was a gasp heard from Merlin. The said male suddenly had golden eyes and then the fire was out. There was a silence between the two and both looked at each other in surprise. He felt like he had done something really bad. So that he felt guilty about this.
"I don't know. A-are you mad now?"
Voice soft, shaky and fragile. The guilt clearly heard in his voice as well as fear. Fear that he had messed up something. This seemed to snap Merlin out of whatever he was in right now. He wrist was suddenly taken and he was dragged towards the room where he first was. When they were inside and the door closed he heard Merlin say something that made him quite happy...
"It seems you have magic and to make it worse...you Peter are a warlock."
(Almost wrote wizard instead of warlock XD)
He was like Merlin and this made Peter proud of it. Super lit and badass or that was what he felt. The teen got just more concerned for him, and he told him that he would be careful. But it wasn't changing that Merlin was worried for him. Merlin tried his best at teaching him how to control his magic, and he had done a great job. But then again he was rather a quick learner -at least when it wasn't boring. Magic wasn't logical of course, but that wasn't changing that he learned rather quickly as this was interesting to him. It eased the worries for Merlin and him as well.
By now he was not bad at his sword skill. Of course, he was still clumsy, but that was not a weakness. He could use this as a advantage. Him and Gwaine were by now rather close. The said adult was by now not just a best friend but like an older brother, he never had.
He got along actually with pretty much everyone. Peter found out that Merlin worked as a manservant for Arthur the second day. It surprised him and he was worried that his friend would get forced at doing something. That was why he told Merlin his concern at some point this week. Merlin gave him a bashful smile and hugged him. As well as reassuring that Arthur would never force him to do something which he really wasn't wanting to do.
Peter knew what manservants were at that time and he was glad that Arthur was a kindhearted male. The said male always looked after his knights and -at the end of his days- he always asked him about his well being. Which surprised him as this person was a king. It showed how much Arthur cared about his people.
There was the fact that he had bad nightmares and he had no one told, not even Merlin. He wasn't wanting to worry the other teen. But soon it would have been found out...
