Peter ends up at Merlin's dimension

Chapter 5

It was now a year later and since then he was getting more involved with opinions by Arthur. And the was as well thinking about legalizing magic and to his surprise legalizing same gendered couples as well. He was tempted to tell Arthur about his magic, but for now he couldn't. He was feeling comfortable now with his new life, but there were times where he was missing everyone of his old life, but there was nothing he could do.

But thanks to the knights he felt at home and by now Gwaine, Merlin and Peter were almost never seen alone. Since what had happened a year ago, Merlin or Gwaine, which usually was Gwaine, stayed close to him. And when Gwaine wasn't with him, Percy or Lancelot stayed with him. They had as well now a deeper understanding with each other. Not just with him but with Merlin as well.

And even the knight's started to get overprotective of him. He wasn't minding this as it warmed his heart to see how much they care for him. It sometimes it was a bit annoying, but he knew why they were overprotective. The knights were like a family to him and Gaius was like a Grandpa he never had.

So far he hadn't had a sensory overload and he was really glad about this. But he had the feeling that soon he would get one. One which would be worse than the once he usually had. And he guessed it was because he hadn't had really something which caused it...

Peter was getting fed up with both of the king and Merlin. The sexual tension even him who is as obvious like a potato noticed this. And he was groaning now. These two were worse now. Like the fight constantly and he was getting more and more fed up. Until he had enough and his body was reacting badly.

It was morning and he knew something was off. The buzzing of his instincts were warning him of something. And he shrugged it off, thinking it was nothing. Oh boy was he wrong...

So an hour later in the middle of his training he felt first the light getting brighter, next a massive headache was felt. Then there was his clothes felt uncomfortable. Like it was itchy and felt like he was pricked by needles. Everything got too loud, too many smells and his taste was a mixture out of everything he had this week. His legs gave in and was gritting his teeth, had to close his eyes and whimpers came out. It was too much. So that he said something.

"G-Gwaine...Merls...sensory overload..."

He knew that Merlin was right now near and hoped that Gwaine would react fast. Everyone was talking and it was too much. He started to sob. Some loud thundering footsteps approached and he felt himself getting lifted up.

Alright, hold on I bringing you to my room Sorry that I will cause discomfort...

Just hurry. I can't handle this. It's too much Merlin...

This was one of the worst sensory overload he ever had. At some point he must have blacked out because of the pain. When he came back he felt something wet on his forehead and he felt way better. But he still felt exhausted and sore.

Better now?

He could just groan and right now he felt needy that was why he tugged on the sleeves of Merlin. The teen knew what he wanted without him having to say out loud. He felt the blanket lifted up and soon he was pulled into a hug. He slipped instantly his arms around and burying his face into the chest of Merlin. The teen had a distinct smell which was always calming to him. He wasn't how that worked, but he just liked that smell. It was a smell he was comfortable.

Yeah. This was one of the worst I ever had. I guess I was really stressed out.

Wait why? There was nothing that could stress you out that much. Other then you could get into trouble for having magic.

Of course, Merlin wouldn't realize why he was stressing out. He was too occupied at eyeing the king and the king wasn't better. The two had constantly eye sex and he was fed up. That fed up that he got now a sensory overload.

Tell Arthur that you are in love with him. I am fed up with you two arguing constantly and seeing you eye sex each other.

Peter decided to be blunt and he heard Merlin let out a gasp. Of course he tried now to let go of the hug, but he wasn't letting Merlin do this. Right now he needed someone to stay with him and cuddle with him.

Is it that bad? So is that the reason why you had that sensory overload?

Yes. So please just tell him. I can see that he likes you back. He even is thinking about changing the law.

There was a sigh and with this there was a silence on the mind. He knew that Merlin was unsure about his feelings, but maybe now he will realize how much this affected others. And affected him the most. So in the end Merlin gave in and told him that he would tell Arthur tomorrow in the evening. And god was he glad, because this went on for too long. Even Gwen realized this and broke up with Arthur. She knew that Arthur was loving Merlin way more and she knew that Gwen could never give what Arthur wanted. They both talked afterward a bit more and soon dozed off.

The next day came and the knights were just more protective and he couldn't even train. So that all he could do was watch them train. Which was boring for him? They didn't even let him go on patrols. So that he decided to go for a walk in the forest. He wasn't seeing any problems and he knew that he would be fine. Because he promises that he would fight back from now on. Oh, boy was his Parker luck getting in the way for a relaxing walk....
