It's not the LadyBlog, but I'm 10 chapters into a new story. In a few weeks, I'll start publishing, but since I'm bad at maintaining a posting schedule, I'm going to write most of it before I publish anything. As for a personal update, I'm good actually. Craving green tea pocky, but I guess you can't have everything in life. 🙃 Online school sucks though. Oh yeah! You may have noticed I've changed my username and I guess 'general aesthetic'. So yeah, guess I'm Lumi now. 😊
Anyways, how is everyone? Not too sick I hope?

"Don't be silly, Will!" My mother leaned over me as I stood awkwardly in the doorway, wishing I could just sink into my fluffy teddy bear slippers.

It was extremely weird and uncomfortable to have your own mother falling over you and aggressively flirting with you and to know in an alternate reality, you would ask her out in a heartbeat.

Right after I'd returned from the palace, I'd found Mum waiting for me behind the front door. She was made up as if she were able to go on a date. Waist-length tresses the colour of dark amber fell against her sunshine-golden dress. Her lips were too bright to be natural and her teeth were white enough to reflect light and cause a fire.

"Excuse me," I muttered. All the exhaustion of the day rolled into me all at once, the release of a tide after it had risen to its peak.

She giggled as if I'd just cracked a joke, even though on a good day, my humour was on the same level as a Christmas cracker's.

"What are you doing?" She tilted her head like a curious puppy.

"Wishing you'd leave me alone."

"Aw, Will, you don't mean that!"

"Mum, who's Will?"

She completely ignored me.

"Do you think I look good today?" She swishes around in her skirt.

"Yes, Mum." I told her tiredly.

She sidled up to me, snaking an arm around my waist and pulled me close. I squirmed, eyes darting around the room for an escape.

"I think you look gorgeous, Will. No wonder all the girls at school are going crazy over you. Look at those lashes! And this...jawline," she ran her fingers down my jaw.
