Just a Minute there Boy AU one-shot story (Lila x Felix)

          Lila saw him out of the corner of her eye. She thought to herself he sure is cute. She was to shy to tell him.  It was not like he would notice her.   Ever since she lost her job as a model due to serious problems with the other models, and the modeling agency she was a brand new woman.

      Her days full of lies and schemes were over.  She has learned her lesson over the years.  

       Marinette wonders what it is that troubles Lila. She thinks it strange since Lila came back from Italy last week she has been rather quiet. She never knew there was this side to the girl who used to cause trouble for her and Adrien.  Let alone to the same person who later caused trouble from Kagami and Luka, Nathaniel and Chole, and everyone else.  

    "Lila, are you alright?" Marinette asks.

    "No, I have not been very nice to anyone.  You were right all along  I did deceive everyone,"  Lila answers.

   "Wow, it sounds like she has learned from her past mistakes, " Adrien remarks.

   "Yes, well, I did a lot of thinking while I was away and I rather tell the truth from here on out," Lila explains.

   Lila sighs as Felix walks past her again. She has a bit of a crush on him.  She can not help it.

  
     Felix does not seem to notice her.  He never was much for paying attention to his surroundings. He has been like this ever since Bridgette dumped him for someone new.  He had not been the same ever since then.  He was a broken person, sad, and oblivious as ever.

   "Adrien, I think I know what bothers her," Marinette says.

"Oh, and what is that princess?"  Adrien asks.

"I believe she has a crush on your cousin, Felix," Marinette tells him.

  "Is this true?" Adrien asks.

"Yes, but you must not tell him,"  Lila states.

"Why not?"  Marinette asks with her hands in her pockets.

 "It is just that boys like him will not ever see me,"  Lila says.

     Felix turns around to see what all the commotion is about after he hears a bucket tip over. He goes over to Lila and winks at her.

    "M-Miss are you okay?"  Felix asks.

    "Yes, thank you," Lila replies.

       Marinette and Adrien leave to give those two some privacy. They both feel sorry for Lila since she appears to be nicer and more honest now.  They know it not exactly easy on Felix either though.

    "Good, then, I will be on my way," Felix says.  He starts to walk away.

  "Just a Minute there Boy,"  Lila calls out after him.

    "Yes?"  Felix asks.

    "I know this might come as a surprise to you, but I l-like y-you,"  Lila mutters.

   "I see, well I do not like you," Felix says and stomps off.


      Lila's s eyes feel up with tears as she walks away.  She feels hurt since the rejection came out harsher than she imagined.  She thinks I suppose it is true then there is no one for me.

   She runs so fast she knocks someone down.  "Sorry, I better go,"  Lila says.

  "Sorry, does not cut it with us, Missy," The stranger says.

    The stranger grabs her arm, then picks her up.  Lila is so afraid she panics. 

    "Help, help me!  Please, help!"  Lila screams.

    

      Felix was in the coffee shop when he heard Lila's screams. He thought is that Lila?  He was furious that someone would try to harm her.  He knows he said he dislikes her, but he was not completely honest with her or himself.

   He ran outside, dropped his coffee cup on the sidewalk and ran to find Lila in the arms of a creep.  He could see the fear in her eyes.  He saw the criminal pull of Lila's jacket.  Then, he saw the man try to remove the rest of her clothes.  He ran towards the crook without a thought about his own safety.  

 "You pervert, let her go!"  Felix yells at him.

    Felix was mad with the male did not pay attention.  He punched him hard with his fist, three times.

  The thug ran off in a hurry as Felix went to Lila.  

  "Lila, are you okay?"  Felix asks.

   "Y-Yes, but you can leave n-now. I k-know you d-do not c-care f-for m-me,"  She says sadly.

     Felix put a gentle hand on her face and felt something he had not felt in months. He felt as if he could not breathe. He knew it was not right, but he had to do it. He brought his face closer to hers and without any warning, he kissed her.

    Lila felt more tears form in her eyes as Felix kissed her. She knew he did not love her. She was sure the kiss was just out of self-pity and guilt.  She closes her eyes and kisses him back. 

   She pulls away, and says, "Felix, I am sorry.  I should have known my confession was a waste of my time."

    Felix stares into her eyes and thinks do not go.  He pulls her close again and tells her, "Look, earlier I lied.  I did not think you could mean it.  See when Bridgette broke off the engagement I thought that no woman could ever make me feel love the way she did."

 "Lila, I do like you.  No, actually, I love you!"  Felix confesses.

    Lila starts to fall and he catches her.

      Felix carries her back to his place when she passes out in his arms.  He does not know where she lives.  He gently sets her on the bed in the spare room, then closes the door.

     Lila sleeps worn out from everything.  Felix reads a book quietly so as not to wake her up. Then, he cleans up his kitchen and sits on the sofa. 

   Thirty minutes later, Lila wakes up and looks around her. She smiles, gets up, and steps out into the hallway.  She collides with someone's chest. She looks up and blushes when she sees him.

   "Awe, falling for me already are you, Lila?"  Felix teases her.

   "Y-yes," Lila mutters.

  "Lila, will you be my girlfriend?"  Felix asks.

   Lila smiles as she says, "Yes, I will."

  Three years later, Felix and Lila get engaged.  It is a short engagement though since they feel this is best for them both.

Six months later, Felix and Lila are in the church for their wedding.

   Right in the middle of the vows, someone burst through the door, and blurts out, "Who do you think you are to steal my man like this?"
  
    "Bridgette, as I remember it you dumped me for someone else, now either sit down and shut up or leave,"  Felix says.

   Lila smirks as Bridgette stomps out as quickly as she barged inside the place. She and Felix finish their vows and exchange the rings.

  Felix gently kisses his bride after the preacher announces it is time to do so, then, he and his wife, go onto the reception.

The reception is a splendid event with their family and friends in attendance.
