It is Friday the thirteenth of March now. The superstitious people make such a fuss about it. Why? This makes no sense as it is a date in the year like any other date on the calendar.
"A-Adrien, did you it is March thirteenth?" Marinette asks.
"Yes, I sure did," Adrien answers.
"Come on girl, do not tell me you are afraid," Alya remarks.
"Alya, do not tease your best friend," Nino states.
"Yes, can not you see how she is quivering?" Luka asks.
"Now, that you mention it Marinette looks upset," Kagami replies.
"Good grief, see what you have done? Give the woman some space!" Adrien responds.
"Fine, I will give her space. Come on Nino," Alya says.
"Where are we going?" Nino asks.
"We can go see that movie you have gone on about for the last few weeks," Alya remarks.
"Sure, sounds good!" Nino says.
Alya and Nino walk-off hold in hand.
"Awe, that is so sweet," Kagami says.
"True, but not as sweet as you," Luka says.
"Goodness, Luka, you know how to make a girl blush," Kagami remarks.
Luka and Kagami are the next to leave.
"Wow, Marinette, I guess it is just you and me, " Adrien tells her.
"Y-yes, I s-suppose it is A-Adrien," Marinette mutters.
"You know you are safe with me," Adrien says.
"Sure, but what about the horrors of the day?" Marinette responds.
"Horrors of the day, what are you talking about now?" Adrien asks. He gives her a puzzled look.
"You know if you stand under a ladder, break a mirror, or see a black cat. It is bad luck," Marinette says.
"Bad luck, ha, I do not believe in that stuff," Adrien says.
" Me neither, but still is Friday the thirteenth!" Marinette screams.
"Marinette, why are you so frightened? It is just like any other day during the year." Adrien says.
"What? It is not, " Marinette retorts.
"Then, tell me what makes it different?" Adrien asks.
"There are scary movies made about it," Marinette answers.
"Yes, so, the things in the movies are not real," Adrien replies.
"You know, you are so right! Now, I feel so silly about the whole thing, " Marinette says.
"Well, now that we have all that cleared up, would you like to go have some fun?" Adrien asks.
"Oh, that depends," Marinette replies.
"Depends on what?" Adrien asks.
"It depends on what you have in mind," She says.
"In that case, it is a surprise!" Adrien says.
"No hints, "Marinette states.
"Not because then it would not be a surprise," Adrien says with a grin.
Adrien and Marinette go around the corner. Adrien grabs her hand and walks into a tall pink building. Once inside, he orders some food. Then, sits down across from Marinette at a table.
Marinette is so glad to be able to have some fun for a change. It seems like is been a while and with Adrien too. She smiles at him as they wait for the food to arrive.
Adrien smiles back at her and blushes. He thinks since when has she been this cute? He wonders how soon the meal will come anyway. He says the blessing, then hands a small bag to her.
"What is this for?" Marinette asks.
"Why do you open it and find out?" Adrien asks.
Marinette opens it and laughs. She thinks this has got to be the funniest gift ever.
"Glad you got a good laugh out of it," Adrien says.
"Yes, well it is not everyday someone gives me a hat that says, I with Adrien Agreste across it in bold gold letters," She says.
"Well, it seems appropriate since you are my girlfriend," Adrien says.
"Girlfriend, since when?" She asks.
"You mean I forgot to ask you?" Adrien responds.
Marinette nods her head.
"Wow, no wonder you gave me a confused look when it came to the gift. I feel so embarrassed right now, Mari," Adrien says.
"Mari, will you be my girlfriend?" Adrien asks.
"Yes, you silly goose!" Marinette answers.
The food is brought to the table and set in front of them. They enjoy fries, cheeseburgers, and smoothies. Mostly, they enjoy each other's company.
After the meal, Adrien takes Marinette to see a movie, but makes sure is not too scary for her. He sees no need to make her upset since they just got together.
Alya and Nino see a movie as well, and so does Luka and Kagami. It is like all the couples thought of the same thing.
Later, after the movies let out, Alya and Nino go to her place, Luka takes Kagami to his place, and Adrien takes Marinette back to her house.
Alya screams when she sees Nino's sharp fangs. It is then she realizes her boyfriend is a vampire!
Luka screams when he sees Kagami turn into a werewolf in front of his eyes.
Adrien almost faints when Marinette turns into Vampire princess and turns to him with a thirsty look in her eyes. He says, "Now, do not hurt me."
Marinette laughs and says, "Sorry, I have come to suck your blood!"
Adrien looks at her with a horrified look and screams! "No, please! Stop, do not hurt me I am begging you!"
*Author's note: Just kidding, none of that crazy stuff happened when the dates were over. Made you blink or think twice though, right? Did I scare you? Boo! It is Friday the thirteenth!
