My Love is Dead one-shot story (Adrienette)

        Adrien looks around the log cabin and notices she is gone.  He thinks where did she go? It was only two days ago he and Marinette came here for an anniversary trip.  He worries about her since he does not recall her saying anything to him about leaving.  He walks over to the door and sees it.
   
         He thinks he might pass out or something.  He hears himself sob, then screams.  He sees the body of his wife on the poor swing.  He looks closer and sees the blood.  He can not believe it.  He touches her to assure himself this is just a prank or a big misunderstanding.  He notices she does not move nor does she laugh.  He gasps when he sees the machete in her back. 

       Adrien screams all over again when he discovers the horrible truth his beloved Marinette is dead.  He can not figure out how this could happen while he was asleep.  He woke up early because he sensed something was not right.  He did not expect this though.  He yells,  "Marinette, no!   Please, do not go!"   He sobs as he steps back with tears in his eyes.

          The next-door neighbor hears the screams and comes over to see what the ruckus is all about anyway.  He sees Adrien on the porch to the log cabin with blood on his hands, tears in his eyes, and the young lady dead.

   "What happened here?"  The neighbor, Luka asks.  He also happens to be a police officer.

     "I  woke up and she was not in the bedroom. I came out here because I thought maybe she came to get some fresh air,"  Adrien explains.

      "Then, what Mr. Agreste?"  Officer Luka Cuffaine asks.

       "I saw her lying there, but I swear I did not know she was dead,"  Adrien blurts out.

        "Did you disturb anything?"  Officer Cuffaine asks.

     "I did reach out and touch her.  I thought she was hurt, or something," Adrien says through his tears.

     "I am sorry for your loss, Mr. Agreste.  I promise you I will get to the bottom of this,"  Officer Cuffaine states.

   "Sorry, well sorry is not good enough! " Adrien yells at him.

   "Sorry will not bring her back,"  Adrien retorts.

   "My Love is Dead,"  Adrien says, then sobs again.

      "Luka, I came as soon as I could and, oh dear,"  A girl with jet black hair with purple highlights says.

     "Mr. Agreste, this is my sister, Juleka,"  Luka says.

     "I am so sorry, sir,"  Juleka says.

     "It is not your fault or his,"  Adrien says with very little emotion in his voice now.

        Juleka figures it must be from the shock and shakes her head.   She grabs Adrien's arm and gently leads him back to the kitchen area. She points to a chair, as she fixes some tea.  She hands the tea to him and says,  "It is a bit hot, so you might have to wait a bit to drink it."

       "Thanks, Miss Juleka,"  Adrien says.

       "You are welcome, Mr. Agreste,"  Juleka says.

        The officer inspects the crime scene and shakes his head.  He is glad the medical examiner came by and took photos along with running some tests for fingerprints, blood samples, hair follicles, and the other usual stuff when it comes to a murder scene.  He shakes his head.

       "By the looks of it, she has been dead for over four hours," The medical examiner says.

       "Well, I say then there is only one possible suspect,"  The Officer replies.

    "Oh, and who might that be sir?" The medical examiner asks.

     "I hate to say it, but I believe her husband did it.  Then, he came out in tears to cover his trail," Officer Cuffaine says.

      
  "Excuse me, but who are you to excuse my Adrikins of this heinous crime?" Chloe asks.

    "Step aside madame, and let the professionals do their job,"  Officer Cuffaine says.

     "Fine, but only because you are so cute,"  Chloe gushes.

      

"Cut, Chole are you serious?  This is supposed to be a murder mystery, not a romance flick,"  Nino states.

   "He is right you know,"  Mylene says.

   "I agree with Nino on this one," Alya remarks.

"Yes, it is not a romance movie,"  Marinette pipes up.

    "Goodness, Marinette you play a convincing role for the corpse," Adrien says.

   " Oh, and you play the role well of the griefing husband,"  Juleka comments.

    "I say, everyone needs to chill so we can get on with this,"  Luka says.

   "Luka is right, it is due soon,"  Kagami says.

   "Fine, but why does Adrikins have to be sad about Marinette's death?   Everyone knows he can not stand her.  The whole thing would be more believable if I were his dead wife,"  Chloe brags.

    "You are so right, Chole," Sabrina comments.

   "The script is not being rewritten and Marinette is the one to play the part because she is good at it Chole," Nino interjects.

    "Now, where were we?"  Nino asks.

    "I believe they left off where Chloe agrees to let Officer Cuffaine do his job and calls him cute,"  Alya says with a smirk.

       Chloe blushes and says,  "I did not say such a thing."

       "It is okay, Chole, you are cute too,"  Luka says.

        

            The people go back to the positions they were in previously, then Nino starts to record again where they left off.

        "Fine, but only because you are so cute," Chloe says again.

         "I am glad we agree on something then, madame, so step aside,"  Luka says.

             Chole nods her head and steps out of the way.

       
         Officer Cuffaine, handcuffs, Adrien and takes him away.  

            Meanwhile, Juleka and Chole both protest his innocence.   Officer Cuffaine takes him to the police station and questions him.


       In the next scene, Adrien is seen behind bars and he frowns.  He can not believe his wife is dead or that he is accused of her murder?   How did this happen on their anniversary?  He loves her.

      Alya comes to see him, and says,  "Do not worry, Mr. Agreste, as your attorney, I will do will do what I can to prove you  are innocence."

       The next couple of scenes show the court trial, with Alya as Adrien's attorney. She wears a fancy outfit for all the proceedings to make her look more professional.

      The judge asks the jury, "Have you come to a verdict?"

    "Yes, we have your honor,"  The jury states.

   "Well, what is it then?"  Judge Ivan asks.

    "We have found the defendant on the charges of killing his wife not guilty, your honor,"  The jury says.

     The judge hits his gavel, the says,  "You heard them, so I say now you are free to go, Mr. Agreste, you are a free man."

      Adrien is seen leaving the courthouse only to be bombarded by reporters.  He ignores them and heads home. He is still too grief-stricken to speak to anyone else.

     Two weeks later, Chloe comes to see him and he tells her to leave. He does not want anything to do with her.  The lady ignores him and tries to kiss him.  Adrien shoves her away.  Chloe leaves angry with him for his rejection of her.

     The movie ends and the end credits play.


"Well, what did you think of it?"  Nino asks.

  "I think it was a bit dreadful, but it does have some good acting skills,"  Miss Camile Bustier says.

  "It was well done,"  Principal Damocles remarks.

   "Bravo,"  Mayor Bougerious says,

  "It is fantastic!"  Jagged Stone remarks.


      Later that year,  the announcement is made on who won the movie contest for an original murder mystery and the students at the high school won!  They are all so excited.

       Adrien looks at Marinette who appears to be deep in thought. He walks over to her and hugs her.

       "What was that for anyway?"  Marinette asks.

       "Your acting skills were amazing, Marinette," Adrien says.

    "Th-Thanks, so were y-yours A-Adrien,"  Marinette replies.

       Alya walks off with Nino, Mylene with Ivan, Kim with Odine, Chole with Nathaniel, Alix with Max, Lila with Sam, Juleka with Ethan, and Luka with Kagami.  Rose leaves with some new boy in town.   


    Adrien and Marinette are left alone which makes things rather interesting.   

"Marinette, did you want to go out for some ice-cream?"  Adrien asks.

"S-Sure, I would love too, A-Adrien,"  Marinette answers.

     Adrien holds her hand and together they go to get some of  Andre' s well-known ice-cream.  As they enjoy the tasty treat, Adrien hears Marinette sigh.  He wonders if something troubles his lovely friend.  

     "A-Adrien, this has been nice,"  Marinette says.

"I agree, it has been rather fun," Adrien says.

    Adrien leans in and wipes some ice-cream off her face with a napkin. Then, he whispers, " Marinette, will you be my girlfriend?"

     Marinette smiles and says, "Yes, I will!"

Adrien walks Marinette home and kisses her.   Then, winks at her as he heads home that day.


  "He sure is a fine young gentleman, we can see why you like him,"  Sabine says.

"I agree Marinette, that boy will make a great future son-in-law,"  Tom teases her.

      Marinette blushes as she makes her way back to her room with a huge grin on her face.


    Adrien blushes as he arrives back to his room.  Plagg just says,  "Blah, human love is so gross, unlike my cheese!"
