Lila knows Marinette likes Adrien. She also, knows he has no clue that his "just friend" likes him. She decides she must doing something about it.
"Gabriel, I have great news," Lila says.
"What is it, Lila?" Gabriel asks.
"Adrien and I are dating," Lila lies.
"Wow, that is news. Congratulations," Gabriel states.
Meanwhile, Marinette grins when she sees Adrien. She watches closely as he steps closer to her.
"Hi, A-Adrien," Marinette says.
"Hi, Adrien," Alya remarks.
"Hi, dude," Nino says.
"Marinette here has something to tell you," Alya tells Adrien.
"Oh, okay," Adrien replies. He turns to Marinette.
"Come on Nino," Alya says.
"Awe, but it just got interesting," Nino says with a whiny voice.
"I said come on Nino," Alya says with a glare of annoyance.
Nino nods his head as he leaves with Alya.
After they left, Lila arrives at the school and smirks. She seems a bit too happy.
"Marinette, what was it you want to tell me?" Adrien asks.
"Yes, what was it, Marinette?" Lila asks.
"Lila, go stand over there, this is a private conversation," Adrien says.
"Do not be silly whatever she shares with you I hear too," Lila remarks.
"I do not think that is necessary," Adrien says with a scowl.
"It is too since you are my boyfriend," Lila blurts out.
Marinette looks hurt when she hears Lila's words and runs off with tears in her eyes. Adrien calls out, "Marinette, come back!"
"Just forget about her, Adrien, why bother with her? You have me now," Lila tells him.
"Lila, I do not know where you get such things into your head," Adrien scoffs.
"We are not a couple," Adrien blurts out.
"Adrien, we are great together," Lila whines.
"Girl, how did it go?" Alya asks.
"It did not," Marinette says sadly.
"Do not tell me he rejected you," Alya says.
"Well, not exactly," Marinette says.
"Then, why are you in here instead of out there with him?" Alya asks with her hands to her side.
"It just that Lila said Adrien is her boyfriend and..." Marinette starts to say.
"I smell a fox," Alya responds.
"Hmm, what do you mean?" Marinette asks.
"I mean Adrien does not even like Lila. She is far to mean for him," Alya points out the obvious.
Marinette comes out of the bathroom but ignores Adrien when she enters the classroom.
Adrien sighs when Marinette does not acknowledge him.
