Dallon's POV:

What's his name? Gosh, what's his name! Of course, he had to say something to me that's tugging at my brain now. It wasn't in my head, and I knew Breezy heard it too. She commented on it. I hardly got a good look at his face, I knew he side profile pretty well, though. He was short, well shorter than me; it's rather hard to find someone my height in high school. I sat in my economics class, tapping my pencil decently hard against the desk. I heard a long exasperated sigh come from the seat behind me,

"Hey pal, could you stop that? It's getting pretty annoying." A voice I'd never heard call out. I turned around, preparing to apologize when I saw him. My eyes went wider out of my control. I tried to dial down the excitement I felt in my body. He smirked at me, leaning onto his elbows to get closer to my desk.

"Well, I didn't realize the heartthrob from the lockers was the one tapping his pencil. Tap away." The mystery boy spoke. His brown eyes pierced into my soul as he kept his gaze on me. I cleared my throat at a loss for words. "He was calling me cute... Breezy was right." I thought to myself. My eyes dropped down to the blue plastic chair that I was sitting in. The blue plastic was textured and weathered from the constant contact is kept with the students throughout the day. I found myself picking at the rough material. I looked back up, and sure enough mystery boys' eyes were still on me. He gave me another smirk before leaning back into his chair. He flashed his eyes towards the front of the board as a sign that I needed to turn around. I hesitated for a second before turning back around, feeling the hard glare from Mrs. March.

"Nice of you to join us, Dallon. I'm sorry my teaching was bothering your social time with Mr. Urie back there." She spoke sarcastically. I looked at her with shifty eyes before mumbling,

"sorry, Mrs. March, won't happen again."
She gave a content hmph before returning to the lesson. I mentally smacked myself in the head for the behavior. What has gotten into me? Why am I so enthralled with this boy. I don't even know his name, but it's something Urie. I could turn around and peek at his paper, but that seems somewhat risky. I don't want to risk getting detention. I looked up at the clock, and sure enough, the class was almost over. "Geez, I didn't learn anything today... The test is on Wednesday. I hope I'm prepared." I thought to myself before being nudged by a hard object. I looked to my left and saw Urie standing with his backpack strung over his right shoulder. He gives me a toothy grin before saying,

"Dallon, huh? Cute name for a cute boy." With that, he just walked off. Damn it all to hell now, I got to know his name!
...
"Are you serious? That urchin is in your economics class?" Breezy said, rolling her eyes when I met her outside of Mrs. March's class. I chuckled a little, thinking about the nickname and how close it was to his last name.

"Yeah, we have Econ together, I still don't know his name, though," I replied, looking at Breezy. She grabbed my hand and held on a little too tight. Seeing her demeanor made me mentally note it probably wasn't a good idea to tell her what Urie said to me when class got out. We walked in silence before Breezy piped in again,

"His name is probably Ryan or something. I've never met a good Ryan in my life. They're all skeezy." I looked at her with an understanding look. Breezy's ex, obviously before me, was named Ryan. He was a pretty bad guy. He broke up with her, but she never told me why. I never pushed her for a reason, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested. Yeah, I know it's none of my business, but I know Ryan, and he has always been such a nice guy to me. If he and Breezy would've never dated, I could potentially see him as my best friend. But that could never happen now. Breezy would murder me! And I love her, so I respect her plea for me not to befriend Ryan. She's the only one I need she told me herself, however, I wouldn't mind getting to know Urie more. I just need to find out what his stupid first name is!

Howdy! I know the plot is going a tad slow right now, but I promise it's going to get better. Next chapter, it'll have more action. We just need to set up a strong foundation. I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know your thoughts.

Bye!
