"Can you PLEASE be quiet?" Nicholas groaned, opening his eyes to see Tiffany stretching like she was getting ready to run a marathon.
"No i cannot." She said, hopping on her toes.
"Why?" He asked in a gravely voice, slightly sitting up.
"Because it's time to get up!" She said, grabbing his hand and yanking him out of his bed. He turned into a bat before hitting the floor and stared at her. He looked mad, but flew into the bathroom and got ready. He ruffled his hair as he stepped out and saw the schedule sitting on the couch. He thought he had something in his eye when he saw the word, Horseback Riding where the words, obstacle course used to be. He rubbed his eyes and still saw the Horseback riding. Weird..He thought, i swear it used to say something else.. Not long after he got up, everybody else got up as well. Mavis didn't seem as bothered today as she did yesterday after the scavenger hunt.
"Whats on the itinerary today?" Johnny asked, looking at the schedule. He looked confused as much as Nicholas. "I guess we're doing Horseback riding today." He said reluctantly, picking up the paper to look at it more carefully.
"yay! Horses!" Tiffany squealed as Ericka started to talk,
"But i thought it said obstacle course."
"It DID." Johnny said.
"Gimme that," She said, snatching the paper from his hands and staring at it, "what the.."
"Whats going on?" Drac asked, peeking out of the back room.
"Something happened to the schedule." Nicholas said to his dad. He walked out of the room and took the schedule from his wife.
"I was looking at that." She said, looking up at him.
"Well now i am." He said, studying the paper.
"I was looking at it FIRST." She said, trying not to loose her temper and trying to grab the paper back.
"But I have it NOW." He said, not letting go.
"Give it to me!" She snapped, yanking the paper harder. They continued to bicker over the paper while everybody else watched uncomfortably. Then the paper glowed a light yellow, but they were so stuck up in the moment they didn't noticed. The glow got brighter and they pulled on the paper harder. The paper ripped into two halves, sending both of them sailing across the room. One into the front door and the other one into one the bunk beds. They recovered quickly and stared at the ripped up paper.
"This is your fault." Drac said to Ericka.
"This is YOUR fault!" She said back.
"Can you stop arguing?!" Mavis yelled over them, making them fall silent, "no WONDER Nicholas and Tiffany fight all the time. They get it from you two!"
"We didn't mean to fight." Drac said.
"Yeah," Ericka agreed, "we're sorry."
"You should be," Mavis said, picking up the two pieces of paper, studying the rip, "now help me fix this paper."
"What? You want us to get some Flex Tape or something?" Ericka asked.
"Flex tape isn't clear," Mavis said, "but some normal tape is."
"I'll check in the back." Ericka said, getting up and walking into the back room.
"I'll check in the back too!" Drac chimed in, standing up and hurriedly following Ericka into the back room. Mavis and the others waited for them to come out of the room, but after five minutes Mavis started to get suspicious.
