(This chapter gets a little graphic with gore)
They headed over to the red line on the ground near the forest. The other teams were there, including Rosie and Dennis. Rosie didn't want Dennis to go into the forest, but he said he would be fine. Ericka stood on the line and waited. She saw Pegasus standing next to Captain and she was staring right at her. Pegasus's eyes seemed to be glowing a faint green and Captain raised the revolver. She and Pegasus locked eyes for a second, and Captain pulled the trigger. They shot off into the forest, and the counselors followed slowly behind. "I hope she doesn't run into the werewolf." Tiffany said softly.
"What did you say?" Drac asked.
"Oh, uh..Nothing." She said quickly. Meanwhile Ericka was looking for the puzzle piece intently.
"Where are you?" She talked to herself, looking around some bushes. She felt the ground getting suddenly colder and the air getting chillier. She stood up and looked around, her breath billowing in the air. She caught the scent of salt right before the ground dropped out from below her. She fell onto a very hard surface. She groaned and lifted her face off the ground. She saw that it was of metal, Titanium. She quickly got up and looked around. It was the hideout in the Legacy. She jumped over to a mirror and saw that she could see her reflection. She was also wearing her captain's outfit suddenly. "How....?" She trailed off, getting closer to the mirror and seeing two little, bloody holes where her fangs used to be. She was very confused when she heard something moving behind her. Spun around and saw her Great-Grandfather rolling up to her with a proud face,
"I knew you would come to your senses," He said, "that beast cannot be trusted." She saw a little rag on the counter and she went over to it. She opened it and gasped. It was her two fangs, root and all. Someone had ripped them out of her mouth.
"WHO DID THIS?!" She demanded Abraham.
"Oh you don't remember?" He said, "you stood in front of Dracula himself and ripped them out of your mouth!"
"WHAT?! Why?!" She asked in surprise.
"Because," He started, "you're Van Helsing."
"But..." She stuttered, "what about...my children?" He did a little laugh and his voice got deeper,
"Why don't you find out." The room suddenly disappeared and she was in complete darkness. She felt something wet and sticky on her hands. She looked down and she saw something dripping off her hands. She wished she had a light and there was a candle that appeared ahead of her. She walked over to it and looked down at her hands. The stuff that was all over her hands turned out to be blood. And it was all over her clothes as well. She took a step back and felt something squishy underneath her boot. She turned around and saw a ripped up, severed hand. She yelped and took a step back in the other direction. She stepped on a severed head and an eyeball rolled past her leg. "AAAAAA!" She screamed, hopping over the head to see it was Mavis's, with cuts everywhere, dripping blood. She grabbed the candle and ran into the darkness. She slowed down and caught her breath for a second once she thought she was in the clear. She thought wrong when she saw that she was standing in a trail of blood smeared on the floor. She followed it and it led to a large pool of blood. She lifted the light and lost her grip on it with shock and surprise. The candle clattered onto the floor, but it stayed lit so that she could look at the unfolding nightmare before her. It was the corpses of Tiffany, Nicholas, and Drac. They were all propped up against each other, a stake in each of their hearts. Their eyes open and staring at her. A stream of blood was dripping from their mouths. Her legs felt frozen in place, even though she wanted to run as far away as possible. She looked down at the candle in the puddle of blood and saw that the blood was starting to catch of fire as if it was gasoline. It lit the corpses up in a bonfire blaze. She tried to cover her face to protect it from the heat, but she saw the corpses shift a little in the heat. She thought it might of just been the heat waves, but the corpses started to get up. Blood started to gush out of their mouths and where the stake was in their hearts. They trudged over to where she was and she stumbled back. She now saw that Nicholas didn't have eyes, someone had gouged them out with violent force. "I'M SORRY!" She cried, trying to keep her distance from the walking corpses, "I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!" The fire from them started to swarm her and she held her breath and covered her face, waiting to burn alive. But then she suddenly felt the air get cold again. She lifted her head and saw that she was in the hotel. "...What?.." She said, confused and she looked around.
