I KNOW that this would be out way sooner, I'm awful at keeping promises, forgive me.
Here's a wholesome lil chapter for ya, to make up for how late this is.

"Oh, memories, where'd you go? You were all I've ever known, how I miss yesterday, and I let it fade away"

PRESENT DAY

Bloody hell, she thought, as she felt the ship get pulled. Han will actually murder me. I'm a goner. Her panic increased with every second. Fuck being able to beat anyone trying to take the Falcon, Damon and I could easily take them on, but if any damage comes to this—

Her train of thought was cut off by the opening of the Falcon door. In two seconds, she had her lightsaber out, prepared to strike. She turned to see Damon with his lightsaber, and Finn holding a blaster that her brother had given him. Victoria starting walking slowly, purposefully towards the door, lightsaber raised. She breathed slowly, in and out, to calm herself down and take control of her emotions.

In a second, however, relief filled her chest when she saw who had just entered the falcon.

"Han!" she exclaimed. Putting her lightsaber away, a genuine smile on her face, she ran into Han's open arms. He chuckled as they embraced, and both of them could feel their eyes watering.

They hadn't seen each other in years. The last time Victoria had seen Han, was a year after the events that took place at the temple as he left, going back to his old smuggler life, the only life he knew before meeting Luke.

"Who—", began Finn, only to be cut off my Damon telling him to shut up. "Just be quiet. She's happy right now, let them have their moment."

Tears were fully pouring down her cheeks now. She sniffed, a laugh escaping her throat, "I'm ruining your jacket." "Who gives a damn about the jacket? I've missed you, kiddo."

"I've missed you, too." she said, before Chewie let out a whine. Victoria laughed again, leaving Han to give Chewie a hug, too. "Of course, I've missed you, you oversized fur ball."

"Graaaaaaaarr!"

Han looked at the two other men on the ship before turning to Victoria once more. "So, do you mind telling me what you're doing in the Falcon, and who those two are?" Nodding, she walked up to Damon and said, "Han, this is my brother. Damon Salvatore." Han smiled, and gave Damon a firm handshake. "She talked about you a lot, this one."

With a smirk and a side-glance at Victoria, he said, "Pfft. And who wouldn't?" Chuckling, Han pointed at Damon and said, "I like this one."

"Well, I'm glad he has your approval. Anyway, this is Finn. He...." she clenched her jaw, knowing this would upset Han, "is an ex-stormtrooper from The First Order. He just left."

Han's eyes glaze over, as Chewie murmurs something in the background. "I see." Finn took a step forward, nervous. "You're Han Solo, right? The Han Solo. Look, I know it may be hard to believe, but I really have left The First Order. I'm done with them, for good. They were awful and cruel and didn't care about the lives they took and—"

"It's okay. I understand. So, what are you all doing in my ship?" Victoria and Damon gave him and Chewie a quick run-down of things as Finn muttered to BB-8 in the background, "Why does everyone keep on cutting me off?" BB-8 only let out a beep in reply.

After hearing everything, Han turned to BB-8, brows raised. "You... have the map to Luke?"

BB-8 beeped an enthusiastic, "Yes!" Han nodded, sitting down. "Do you mind?"

BB-8 turned to Victoria for permission, and seeing her nod, he projected the part of the map that he had been given mere hours before. The projection filled the entire room, a clear path marked within it. Victoria's breath caught in her throat and, sensing her distress, Damon discreetly took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "So the Jedi are real..." Finn said in awe, looking at the map.

"I used to wonder about that, myself." Came Han's reply. "I used to think that it was nothing but a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. Magical powers that hold both good and evil, the dark side and the light. Crazy thing is, it's true. All of it. The Force, the Sith, the Jedi... it's all real." Han's mind, for the first time in years, flashes to his favorite memories of the past when thinking of the past. He thinks of Luke... and Leia.

Damon and Victoria simply shared a look while Finn just continued to stare at Han, enamored with all that he said. I wonder if that's what I looked like, first listening to Han speak. Victoria thought. It probably is.

"Well," Damon said abruptly, clapping his hands together, "Victoria and I need to return that map to Leia. Dameron, unfortunately, couldn't, and we need to get to the Resistance base before the First Order begins its search again." Victoria and BB-8 nodded in agreement.

Han sighed, his heart heavy. "Sure. Let's go to Leia."

This is the Han Solo content that y'all deserve. I miss him 🥺🥺
