Magic is everywhere.
Dear diary,
Even nowadays, you can find magic everywhere if you only look close enough.
Magic is made by angels. Angels, those heavenly beings. You might consider them a Christian legend, but they are there for everybody. You don't believe me? Just listen.
Have you ever caught your bus to school or work at the last second? Have you ever found money on the street when you forgot your food at home? Have you ever met someone who could show you the way when you were lost in an unknown city? These are the works of your Guardian Angel. Everybody has one, and they are always by your side. They know that it's the little things in life that make you smile - and even if you might feel as if your angel has let you down for a while, know that they are only busy keeping some worse evil away from you.
Have you ever felt connected to a song or a melody through an unexplainable and unknown feeling? It's your Guardian Angel, trying to show you that they are there, that they know you and your feelings and that you can rely on them.
Maybe, you have even seen them once. Don't you sometimes lie awake, feeling like someone is watching you? They might have just been inattentive and forgot to be invisible.
Or have you ever wondered about snow? Are you sure it's only frozen rain? Truth is, every single snowflake contains a defeated demon. In winter, demons are easy to defeat because the cold weakens them and so the angels from Heaven catch them and ban them into snowflakes to let them melt down here on Earth.
You might now ask why I know about that all. The answer is simple. I know my Guardian Angel. He is my boyfriend and his name is Avuriya.
We fell in love a year ago - he fell for me and I fell for that feeling of being sheltered. When he finally showed me his real appearance, I immediately knew that he was the one for me. Our love is illegal, but we can live with that. My best friend Selina knows about Avuriya because I could not stand being teased with my "life as a single" and so we decided to tell her, but it's not easy to go for a date with a boy with huge wings. In winter, it is pretty easy to hide them under a long coat, but in summer, we cannot really date.
At the moment, Avuriya is in Heaven. He wants to confess our love to the highest angels and beg them to give us the possibility to make his wings invisible. It is a huge risk, though. The highest angel could decide to help us or to separate us forever.
The door slammed against the wall of my room and I winced and accidentally dropped my phone.
"Man, can't you just knock like every normal person?" I tried to give Avuriya a strict look, but he just ran his hand through his dark hair and smiled and I just could not be angry at him. My hands held his hands and our lips met for a short kiss.
"Please tell me", I whispered. "How was your journey to Heaven? And what did the highest angel say?"
"He was... not really happy, not to say angry." Avuriya laughed awkwardly and sat down on my bed. "But I found this old book with magic spells, and I swear to all the archangels that it includes something helpful."
"You... found this book? You don't mean you... stole it, do you?"
"Well, found, stole... never mind. By the way, did I mention that in about five minutes, an angry army of angels would arrive here?"
-o-
"Why can't you just keep your hand off of other people's stuff?"
