Away Away,
She lived
In a desolate lane
And a desolate heart.

Sight ecclesiastical,
Smile merry,
Eyes beautiful

Yet

Eyes tired,
Soul doleful,
Essence crushed.

Her naivety mashed,
By a monster
Like a flower crushed
Before its bloom.

Yet,
She gave a smile,
At her ironic fate,
That set eyes of nature
In hope,
That ignited the
candle of promise,
That blew the wind
Of faith.

Her smile was only
At her ridiculous destiny
Who was determined
To make her grief laugh.

She smiled so beautifully
The tranquillity
Of nature
Relinquished
In front of her.

That the sun,
Bowed his head,
In shame,

The birds cooed
In shock and confusion
Creating an absence
Of its usual jazz.
