The wedding bells ring,
As we wait for the bride.
You walked down the aisle with our father,
Smiling and looking forward with pride.I still remember the day you were born,
Those big misty eyes you used to have.
And those tiny little hands,
The one that I loved to hold onto.I still remember when you took your first steps,
Those stumbling and trembling footsteps.
And those slightly big yet still tiny hands,
The ones that I held to support you on.I still remember you trembling and crying,
When they dared to harm you,
And those still smaller hands you had,
The ones you clenched on my shoulders when you cried.I still remember the times you hugged me,
When you used to surprise me from behind.
And those hands grew once again,
The ones you used to pinch and poke and tickle me with. Now there's this beautiful ring on it,
A new bond, a new name and family.
And in that snow white gown,
My little princess is ready to be a queen.Oh, my baby sister,
I love you beyond words I can sprout.
The wedding bells continue to ring,
As you now descend down the aisle.Your hands have grown so big,
The ones that grip your love's hand.
Yet you still look back and smile,
Those misty eyes look into mine one more time. Now you take upon another name,
Ready to make your own reality.
I wish may all Gods be on your side,
And may failure and trouble never cross your path.Oh, my baby sister,
I love you beyond words I can sprout.
You are my little angel, my princess
The one that is to be a queen now.
