Leo's P.O.V

Raph has been practicing meditation every now and then, and to me, it honestly helps just a little bit to calm down his sanity.

The night of the same day, he said that Karai wanted us for a meeting. But I texted her and said that Sensei made us not to go topside in any condition.

I practice with Raph sometimes. And honestly, it's like he learns more when he's with me. I mean, because I'm his brother? I don't know.

Currently, we are watching TV and eating pizza that April brought us. Pizza Gyōza. Man they're delicious.

I glance at Raph who's spaced out and his head hung low. His eyes are focused in one place as he has a frown. I swallow my pizza and scoot closer to him, "Raph? What's wrong?" He's still looking down, his frown even deepens.

"I wonder what did Karai wanted to say." I frown afterwards, he had a point. "Her tone was so..dark and mysterious. She wanted to say something important, Leo. I could feel it."

"Well, too late now. She can tell us another time-"

"But when? We're basically stuck here forever! Just like we were kids!"

I sighed and got up the couch, then bent down to Donnie who was sitting on the ground and whispered to him, "Can I talk to you right now?" "Of course." He whispered back and got up.

We both headed towards the kitchen. "So, what do you need Leo?" I bit my lip and look to my side. He looks at me confused. "Can you like, invent something that will be like a video call?"

I could see he wanted to burst out laughing, and his face became so red. Red because of, what?

"Oh Leo what a question. There are many apps which have this ability." "Wait, really?" He nodded to me. I felt so dumb.

"Why do you want that though?"
"I want to contact Karai and see what she wanted to say." Donnie only nods and brings out his phone. "Mhm, ok. I'll set it up and call when it's ready for ya." I thank him and walk to the couch.

The fact that every 4 minutes Raph's hand would twitch, is bugging me. Why did it have to happen? What did he do?

-probably an hour later-

"Ok it's all ready!" We all looked from the couch, everyone except me were confused. "I told her to download a certain app so we can talk to her." I mumbled a 'sweet' and started to explain to everyone.

"Ok, we're calling her now. Come on guys." Donnie called for us to come. After some seconds ringing, she picked up.

"Hey." We all greeted her and started to warm up the conversation for a bit. It was, until I asked my question,
"What did you wanna say, Karai?" She got quiet, too quiet.

"Alright, settle down and bring Splinter too." Just call him father goddammit. We brought Splinter as we all sat down at the kitchen. Me, father, Mikey and April sat around the table while Raph leaned to the fridge with a frown, his arms crossed to his chest.

"What has happened, my daughter?" Sensei asked warmly, I smiled at that. He enjoys some quality time with her daughter.

"Something bad, really bad. It's terrible, horrible." Karai mumbled under her breath while she looked to her side. We all exchanged worried glances. "What happened?" Mikey blurted out innocently. She took a really deep breath, closing her eyes. She opened her eyes slowly with such a fear.

"Shredder's back."

Our eyes widened in extreme shock and fear. It's not possible..But how? I'm sure Sensei took care of him!

I glanced at my family and one human friend. Splinter, April, Donnie and Mikey looked shocked; although Mikey was a bit scared. I searched for Raph's expression. So I turned my back a bit to see him.

He was shaking! I never saw him like that! He's shivering, his eyes are as tiny as a dot. I could see his legs tapping rapidly on the ground. His fists were clenched and he kept breathing heavily.
Why...?

"How..How, my daughter?" Splinter broke the silence. "I'm not sure, but he's back stronger than before. We have to be careful." I just frowned and looked down.

What if Shredder was that creature from my nightmare? No, that creature is way different than Shredder.

"And, I might add, his body became more bad shaped and bigger. From what Shini said, they mutated him, again. That means he's 10 times stronger." "How do you know that if she's right?" Donnie asked out of curiosity. "I saw him roaming around the city. I recognized him by his voice."

We all remained silent.

What if he is? No..No he can't be..The dream can't be true...!
