Narrator's P.O.V

12 days has departed since then, and the turtles, along with their friends, encouraged Splinter to face Shredder. They had a hard time doing so, but they accomplished.

Days and nights went with training. Training, training, and training. The mutants were used to it by now. Well, not all of them. Casey and Mando Geko were lagging.

They were planning on an attack the exact day. Although, none of them were prepared mentally; mostly the blue leader. He was the most paranoid person around, mostly because of his nightmares.

"Leo! Those are not real! Snap out of it man!

"You're not the leader that gives up easily!"

"Those.are.not.REAL!"

But Leo couldn't believe the words his brother said a bit long ago. But he knew he had to be tough and face his concerns. Even if it implied sacrificing himself.

"So, got the plan ready?" April asked out to Donnie and Leo. They both bounced their head while Donnie pushed away the board. "We're ready. Call the mighty mutanimals and tell them we'll meet at Central Park Tower." Leo answered while walking towards her direction. April nodded and ran out of the lair

"I'll go get Sensei and others." Leo said out loud while walking out of Donnie's lab. He informed Mikey and Splinter, then went to find Raph. He found his brother getting ready for the upcoming battle.

Leo sighed and faked a cough. "Are you ready Raph? We're going." Raph turned around with a blank face; but it was obvious he was worried. "Raph?"

"Yeah, I am. But, are you ready?" Raph asked concerned. A tone of worthiness was wandering in his voice. Leo was taken aback. Was he ready?

"I...I guess." Leo shook his head then headed out of Raph's room. Raph sighed deeply, then too headed out.

"Are you ready, my sons?" The rat called out. "Hai Sensei." The four responded, although Leo was kind of uneasy.

Leo looked up at his father, and saw him giving him a reassuring smile. He too smiled and gathered up his courage. "Let's go after Casey and April, then we'll head to Central Park Tower." The family nodded, then they all headed out.

-some time later-

They all landed on the tower, ready for the meet up. The mighty mutanimals were all ready and steady for the search. Finally, the four brothers, along with their two friends and father, all greeted the giant mutants.

"Where's Karai and Shinigami?" Mikey asked curious. "They informed us they were on their way, my dear friend." The giant crocodile answered softly. Him and Mikey were closest of the friends.

"Very well. Until they come, we will split up and search the city. If you found the monster, call the others." Master Splinter commanded all of them, while they all bounced their head.

"I..suppose..there's no need for...searching." A harsh, raspy, deep and slow voice interrupted them.

All the eyes widened, snapping their head towards the sound. Dread took over some if them. There he was, standing a massive super mutant with sharp knives out of him.

"WOUH. What in the..!?" Before Casey could finish his sentence, Raph shoved his hand on his mouth. Now was not the time to speak.

"I guess it starts now, doesn't it..?"
