Chapter 3 > Support

<><><><><><><><>

Leo didn't tell Splinter exactly what he was seeing, but he managed to say that he was seeing nightmares.

"That wasn't hard my son, was it?"
Leo looked at his father shocked.
"Wait, you mean it's a normal thing?"
The rat frowned. He wasn't sure.
"I didn't say about it being 'normal'."
Leo just raised his eyebrow. Splinter sighed.
"Remember when you had nightmares of your brothers? When you saw all of them hurt themselves?"
"Crystal clear, Sensei. How could I forget?"
Splinter nodded.
"That time, all of your brothers slipped in a sewer tunnel and hurt their knees."

Leo gasped. He couldn't remember that. "Wait, when? I don't remember."
"You were ill in that time. I got your brothers to see how the sewer looks like, that was when the accident happened. Although I didn't tell you to don't scare you."

After a long silence, Leo's eyes got glossy while he held his head down.
'So, my nightmare came true that time. And this nightmare, if it comes true again..' Leo couldn't continue even thinking about it when he seriously broke down.
Splinter, on the other hand, fastly approached him and held him in his arms. "Leonardo, what has happened?" Leo couldn't answer as he just sobbed slowly. His nightmares were like he was witnessing hell.

After what seemed like eternity, Leo calmed down, ready to explain from head to toe of the story.
"Sensei." He started.
"I have been having weird dreams, but at the same time, terrifying." Splinter nodded for him to continue.

"We're on a building, the highest one I remember. Then, there's this..creature..that I don't recall. H-He throws Raph and Donnie off the building and..e-electrocutes Casey. And, I'm just, standing there helpless. I don't remember where Mikey was, but he was OK."
Leo's voice broke as he tried not to break down again.
Splinter stroked his beard, thinking.

"So, in short, you see your brothers dying?" Splinter hated using that word, but he had to be direct. Leo's eyes widened then closed, sighing in agreement. "Hai Sensei." Splinter frowned, then raised his voice from calm to a scary tone.
"This is something serious we have to take care of. From now on, no patrolling, no visiting April or Casey and certainly no going topside even if you go together."

Leo looked up at his father. "But, Sensei! What about the city?"
"Your health is more important. And the city will be safe with your giant friends. Contact them so they take care of the city." Leo was about to speak up when he found it useless. He nodded and got up, readying his position for a meditation with his father to clear his mind.

-

Donnie, who heard the whole yelling session in the main hallway, was walking out of his lab. He found Mikey sleeping with a pile of empty bowls on him. He chuckled and carried him to his room. 'Damn! he's heavy.' Donnie thought.

Just when he was about to go to his own room, he stopped in front of Raph's door. 'Should I? Maybe.'
He sighed and held the handle of Raph's door, opening it. He was faced with a familiar scene which he confronted before. He quite found out, that Raph was drinking alcohol, on his own. Sometimes, after an argument or so, he saw Raph go to his room, leaving the door a bit open; enough for others to see.

He always cleaned Raph up in such state, so the others won't see him like that; He didn't want trouble. Yet, Raph never noticed it and thought that he might cleaned himself on his own.

At this point, the author thinks Donnie is a great brother. (XD)

He sighed, entered the room and closed the door behind him. Raph woke up from the sound of door, sitting up. 'Shit.' They both thought.
"Donnie! What are you doing here!?" "Relax, Raph. It's OK. I knew it already." Raph sighed in stress and shock. "Y-You knew?" Donnie simply nodded while he sat next to Raph.
"You can't hide such thing from me, it's obvious." Raph looked aside, feeling ashamed. "You probably think I'm disgusting now, don't you?"
"Of course not!"

Raph jumped a bit from his sudden out burst. Donnie sighed and crossed his arms. "Why would I? You're my brother. Besides, I know how it feels to be addicted to something."
"Or someone~" Raph teased while Donnie's face went flushed.
"Shut up!" Raph chuckled as he told him to calm down.

"Just..Just so you know, I will always support you, no matter what you do or what you say. I will always truly love you even if i don't say it or show it.." Raph was stunned by this confession as he looked wide-eyed into Donnie's brown red-ish eyes..

...

(Ok ok the cliffhanger is so bad and I know it, but I ended it here for a reason. Or questions I want to ask.
×do I make it a tcest DonniexRaph story? Or keep it the brotherly way?
Goodbye for now!)
