Jay was very angry that Bin didn't sell BB-8 to Unkar-Plutt. "I can't believe you didn't take that deal, 3 tanks of fule!-" Jay shouted while falling behind BB-8 and Bin carrying their fule and selenium drive in a bag.
"Maybe I should sell you instead." Bin threatened, while shooting him a glare.
That shut Jay up real quick.
BB-8 beeped while you trotting around next to Bin.
"Don't mention it. But I have a question...Where is it that you plan on going? " Bin aked
BB-8 answered in beeps
"You work for the Resistance? And you're trying to get back to your base...well good luck on your mission. "Bin said
They made it to the main Street of town, the most populated area of Jakku.Scavengers we're walking around with their items, waiting in lines and arguing about prices. BB-8 was glancing around but saw no sign of his master. Bin was starting to think they would never show up. And even though Bin said he would only take BB-8 to town and then drop him off, he couldn't help but think that wasn't the right thing to do.
"Well me and Jay need to get back to our ship...do you need a ride anywhere ? " Bin asked BB-8.
But before BB-8 could answer a voice came up behind him.
"You aren't taking the droid anywhere. " A hooded mugger appeared behind him and as soon as Bin turned around the mugger threw a punch but Bin doged it, meanwhile another hooded mugger threw a large wool sack over BB-8 and began to try to carry him away. BB-8 beeped in protest. And the other hooded mugger was swinging a staff at Jay which he managed to grab and used it to defend him self.
Bin doged another hit and swung at the mugger managing to punch him in the face but that didn't knock him down the mugger swung again hitting him in the stomach while Bin held is stomach trying to breathe the mugger pulled out a knife and before he could throw it at Bin, Bin pulled out his blaster and shot the mugger in the leg causing him to fall to the ground.
Bin shot the other mugger that was wrangling BB-8 away twice one in each leg, causing him to hit the sand with a loud thud.
And by the time Bin looked to Jay the other hooded mugger had already had been beaten unconscious with his own staff. Jay always was able to defend himself.
"Well that was unexpected." Jay mumbled.
Bin sighed in relief and un clutched his stomach. He looked down to BB-8 who was still wrangeled in a sack turning his head in confusion. Bin crouched down and helped him out if the wool sack. "BB-8 are you ok? "
The droid beeped in assurance.
"We got to get you out of here, Unkar-Plutt is propaby sending more muggers after us, he's mad I didn't sell you.'
Bin dusted off his pants and let out a heavy sigh. BB-8 was scanning around the place for more attackers but then he saw something caught his eye. He started to stare down a man with dark skin and had a brown leather jacket, it looked like he had been there awhile he probably had watched the whole fight. The man looked at the droid with confusion.
BB-8 beeped loudly in anger and started signaling Bin beeping frantically in frustration. Bin was a little confused and then looked at the man in suspicion. The man wasn't sure if they we're talking about him.
"Who...that guy? " Bin asked in anticipation
BB-8 beeped replied quickly . Jay and Bin looked back at the Man. Anger spread across Bin's face as he began to walk towards the man.
The man backed away in fear and once Bin and Jay started running towards him he began to run away, knowing what they would do to him .
The man dashed away quickly when he turned his head to look behind him he didn't see Bin, Jay , or BB-8.
Was he really that fast?
Turned his head forward again only to see Bin waiting for him. The man stopped but before he could back away, Bin punched him in the stomach knocking the breath out of him as he hit the ground.
He coughed and gasped for air.
"So you like stealing from people huh?" Bin asked with his blaster pointed down onto the man.
"What?! 'Stealing?' " The man shouted
BB-8 zapped the man with his tazer. A current of blue electricity struck the man's leg.
"Ow! Hey! That hurt! " The man yelled towards BB-8
"Where did you get the jacket?This droid said you stole it." Bin snapped
The man's brows furrowed.
"Listen, I've had a very rough day so I would appreciate it if you woul-"
BB-8 zapped his leg again
"OW! stop it! " The man yelled
"How did you get it? It belongs to the droids owner." Bin questioned
The man looked at the droid in confusion then his eyes grew wide and then he sighed his eyes looked sad.
"I got it from Poe Dameron... That was his name right? " The man asked looking at BB-8
BB-8 confirmed in a beep.
"He was captured by the First Order,I helped him escape, but our ship crashed... Poe didn't make it. "
The man looked at BB-8 in sadness
BB-8 made a sad noise, he dropped his head.
"I tried to help him, I'm sorry. " The man said.
BB-8 turned his head and trotted away sadly.
Bin lowered his blaster and put it back onto his belt loop.
"So you're with the Resistance? " Bin asked.
"Wh- uh yes " The man stood up
"Yeah, I'm with the Resistance "
Bin wanted to ask him about someone he knew he worked there, but he stopped himself.
"BB-8 is on a secret mission, he has to get back to your base. " He looked at BB-8 from a distance.
"Apparently he has a map that leads to Luke Skywalker and everyone's after it. " The man whispered
Ben felt his heart drop to his stomach, his core felt cold, yet and for a second he couldn't breathe.
"Luke Skywalker? I thought he was dead. " Ben barely whispered
"Everyone did, it seems he's been hiding in secret. " The man said quietly
Luke... Is alive. Ben thought
Ben broke out into a cold sweat his hands felt shaky.
"Hey Are you ok?" The man asked
"What?- I mean yeah, I'm ok, uh..I never got your name. " Bin said
"I'm Finn, and you are..? "
"I'm Bin, and that's Jay. " Bin pointed back at Jay who waved.
"Nice to meet you. " Said Finn
They heard aloud series of beeps from BB-8 he sounded panic.
"What is it BB-8? " Bin asked.
They ran to him as saw from a distance several large ships landing on the sand, with large groups of storm troopers marching out.
"This cannot be good... " Jay mumbled.
