The group of fugitives sat down at a booth with a table of appetizers and refreshments, Maz sat down as well as they sat in silence for a moment.

Then she finally spoke.

"I contacted the resistance they will be here to receive the droid shortly." She glanced at Bin again he but he looked at the ground. She chuckled

"I never thought the day would come, where we would finally  retrieve Luke Skywalker and finish this war.  The Jedi will be the ones who bring peace and protection."

Finn scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"This man wen't into hiding for years..and we expect him to save the universe? There is no way he can destroy the first order alone. He is just one man.  And it seems he wants nothing to do with helping us people."

"You do have a point, he was ashamed of himself. he was.. discouraged, he believed he had ruined the Jedi after the incident."

"What incident?" Freya asked

Bin felt his chest tighten.

"About 8 years ago he was training a new generation of Jedi. But one night a boy had betrayed him and destroyed the temple resulting many deaths in young padawans. Luke could never forgive himself. He held himself responsible and fled without a word. No one has seen him since." Maz looked down to floor

"The boy had he turned to the dark side?" Freya asked

"No one knows for sure. People have certain theories of what happened to him. His family believe he died, others believe he became the apprentice of Snoke and now rules the first order."

"I doubt that last one." Finn laughed

"Oh really? And why is that?" Maz questioned

"The supreme leader's apprentice is certainly female and much younger as well."

Freya and Markus exchanged glances with worried eyes.

"How do you know?" Markus raised a brow.

"Oh. Uhh I- I saw her When I helped Poe Dameron escape."

"Well if that is the case then the boy must really be dead." Maz sighed

Ben felt his skin crawl.

"Once Luke Skywalker comes he will destroy the First Order and the resistance will assist him. We all must fight in this War." Maz continued

Finn scoffed again.

"The Resistance and some old man with a light saber aren't going to end the First order. They are too powerful. There is no winning against them. We'll all be killed. We all need to Run." Finn glared at Maz.

Maz chuckled again.

"We need to Run? Or do you need to Run?" Maz tilted her head.

"Hey, you don't know a thing about me. About the things I've done. Or the things I've seen. I may not be a Jedi but I know for damn sure that the Jedi or the Resistance will die trying to win this war. We either run or we die. That is the only way out of this."

"Hmm.. " Maz hummed.

"You know if you live long enough you see the same eyes in different people. And I'm looking into the eyes of a man who wants to run not because he isn't Strong Enough to fight but because he's too full of Fear to try."

Finn stood up from the booth.

"Because I intend on surviving." he growled

Maz looked at him for a moment and looked to a man behind Finn.
