*Next day*
Cheryl's POV

My parents arrived late last night, so it was just a quiet day in the house.

Right now I'm going to meet Toni so we can go for a run in the park, just to soothe our minds.

I put on my leggings and a sweater.

I put on my running shoes and my contacts.  I placed my glasses in my pocket for later.

I grabbed my phone and headphones, going downstairs to the kitchen to grab a water bottle.

To my surprise, my mother was sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee.

"Oh. Good morning dear." She smiled.

I gave her a friendly smile. "Goodmorning," I said, grabbing a water bottle.

I got myself situated, then I started doing stretches.

"Going for a run?" She asked, taking a sip of her coffee.

I nodded. "Yeah. Toni and I are just gonna run through the park. I'll be back before noon." I said.

She nodded. "When can we meet Toni?" She asked.

I shrugged. "Dinner tomorrow night?" I asked.

"Sounds like a plan." She smiled.

"Cool. I'll just make sure Toni doesn't have any plans." I said, looking at the time 9:57 AM. "I gotta meet Toni now. I'll see you later mom, love you!" I called as I left the kitchen.

"Love you too dear!" she yelled back.

Toni's POV

I sat on the park bench. The cool fall air refreshing my face. It was a calming morning, very quiet too.

I saw Cheryl enter the park. I smiled as she walked up to me.

"Hey, beautiful." I smiled, pecking her lips softly. She smiled as she pulled away.

"Hey." She blushed. "You ready?" I asked, popping in my headphones.

"Yep!" She smiled, doing the same. She handed me a water bottle. I put it in the pocket of my jacket.

Then we started to jog around the park.

*After the jog*

it's now 10:30. Cheryl and I sat in a booth at pops.

"My mother wants to know if your down for dinner at a restaurant tomorrow night." Cheryl smiled.

"Yeah. I'm free." I nodded. Cheryl squealed. I Chuckled at her dramatics.

"I can't wait! My parents are gonna love you!" Cheryl said.

I shrugged. "How would you know?" I asked. Cheryl gasped.

"I'm hurt that you think they wouldn't love you! Jason loves you already. I'm sure my parents would." Cheryl said.

"Okay, Cher." I chuckled. Our milkshakes arrived.

"Okay. It's 11 now. I told my mom I'd be home before noon, so let's go." Cheryl said after a while of sitting and talking.

"Okay, I'll walk you home," I said paying the bill.

"Like you had a choice," Cheryl smirked. I rolled my eyes.

Cheryl's POV

"I have to work at the wyrm tonight so, I won't be able to call you before bed or see you anytime later." Toni frowned as we walked into my driveway.

"It's fine, baby. Just call me in the morning." I smiled. "And a text tonight would suffice," I added.

"Okay." Toni smiled. We stopped at the end, not to close to my house.

Toni pecks my lips softly. I smiled, pulling her in closer as I attacked her lips in a passionate kiss.

Toni wrapped her arms around my waist as she kissed back. I smiled as I pulled away, leaning my forehead on hers.

"I love you, " I blushed.

"I love you too, " I replied. Toni pecked my lips once more before pulling away.

"I'll text you before bed." She said as she started to walk away. I waved dreamily.

I sighed as I saw her disappear out of my sight. I started walking up to my house, opening the front door.

"I'm back!" I called. My mother walked out of the living room as I hung up my sweater, and taking off my shoes.

"Hey, Honey! How was your run?" She asked.

"Good. We ran 3 miles. That's the longest I did in a while." I chuckled.

"That's good. I was just here looking at my morning court shows. Jason and your father went out to buy some groceries." She divulged.

"Okay. That's fine. I'm gonna take a shower, then a nap. I'll see you later." I said, walking out of the living area.

I went upstairs to my bedroom, grabbing my towel and speaker.

I set the portable speaker on the counter connecting it to my phone as I undressed.

I ran the shower as I did so. Once my song was on, I hopped in the shower.

*After the shower*

I entered my room with only a towel on.

I grabbed some underwear, then shorts and one of Toni's sweaters that she let me keep.

I sighed as Toni's scent entered my nostrils.

It's now 1:30 so I decided to just nap.

* a Few hours later*

I woke up at around 4 o'clock.

I went downstairs and grabbed a salad and apple juice.

My father walked in. "Cheryl! I haven't seen you all day!" He said as he gave me a hug.

"Hey, dad. Sorry about that, I went for a run with Toni. Then I took a nap." I said as I put the dressing on my salad.

" It's fine, Cher. I'm just happy to see you that's all." He smiled, going over to the fridge.

I nodded. "We're going to a restaurant tomorrow. My plan for you both to meet Toni." I informed him.

"Oh yeah. Toni. I'm glad you found somebody." He smiled.

I rolled my eyes. "Please don't scare my girlfriend, dad!" I begged.

"Okay. Okay, I'll try to be less intimidating. I just need to make sure she knows who daughter shes' girlfriends with before I actually accepted it." He says.

I nodded. "Also I heard about that little gang of hers. I like that she's protecting our community, that way she can protect you." He smiled.

"Okay, dad. Okay, I'm gonna go up to my room now. Later." I said, rushing out of the room.

He's really annoying sometimes, I swear.
