Toni's POV

I walked down the halls of Riverdale High, hand-in-hand with my girlfriend. People stopped to stare, mouths agape.

I smirked, while Cheryl just kept her head down. I took her books from her so she can open her locker.

"Everyone's staring, Toni..." She whispered, turning to me.

I rolled my eyes, pecking her lips. "Its because we look so hot together..." I whispered. Cheryl smiled shyly, closing her locker.

She took my hand again, but this time she held her head up high with a big smile on her face.

I smiled, kissing her cheek softly.

I walked her to her first-period class. "I can walk you to your second," I said.

"No need, baby. I got myself." Cheryl objected.

"If you insist! But if you need me, just text me, and I'll be on my way." I said with a smile.

She nodded. The bell ringed. I smiled then pecked her lips, walking away with a wave.

Cheryl's POV

I clutched my books to my chest, walking over to my seat.

Betty came rushing in, sitting next to me.

"Toni?" She asked. I nodded with a smile. She smirked.

"When did this happen?" She asked. She knew about my crush, well, love for Toni.

"Yesterday. I was walking home after dropping you off, she pulled up on me and asked me if I wanted a ride. Obviously, I agreed, we get to my house, she comes in, we settle down... Then it happened." I explained.

"What happened exactly?" She smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"That's none of your business cousin," I smirked. Betty squealed.

"You guys smashed!" She whispered excitedly.

I rolled my eyes as the teacher walked in and the lesson began.

Lunch Time
Toni's POV

"Betty, jug. This is my girlfriend Toni." Cheryl introduced. I smiled at the word "girlfriend."

"Ah. This is the Toni Cheryl rumbled about. I thought you were non-existent." Jughead joked.

Cheryl throws her baby carrot at him. He threw his arms up in surrender.

I and Betty laughed. "It nice to meet you, Toni," Betty said.

Cheryl looked down at her lap. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Oh. I'm her cousin." Betty giggled. I laughed.

Cheryl was nervous for me to meet her family, awww.

"Don't worry Cher. Toni's cool!" Betty assures the girl. Cheryl nodded, looking over at me.

I gave her a friendly smile as I gripped her hand from under the table. Betty smiled at us then began to eat her food.

Jughead went on about what to write for the blue and gold. It gave me an idea.

"Hey, Why don't I join the blue and gold?" I asked. Cheryl spits out her milk. Everyone at the table turned to look at her.

"What? I'm fine." She reassured, wiping her mouth with a napkin.

"I mean, I'm good with photography! I could be your photographer." I smiled.

Cheryl's POV

I can't believe Toni wants to join the blue and gold. I mean, Don't get me wrong! I'd love Toni working with us, but I'm always nervous or clumsy when I'm around her sometimes I tend to act... off. Like a few minutes ago when I spit out my milk.

"We could use a photographer. Got any pictures to show us?" Jughead asked. Toni pulled out her phone, her hand never leaving mine, she pulled up a picture of the sunset.

"Woah..." Jughead whispered. Toni smirked, putting her phone away.

"Well... Your in!" Betty chuckled as she winked at me. I looked down with a blush.

*End of the day*
Toni's POV

I drove Cheryl home after working on the blue and gold.

"Can't you stay another night?" Cheryl asked with a pout. I chuckled softly, grabbing her waist softly.

"I wish I could, but I can't I promised my father that I'd be home today." I sighed. Cheryl's pout intensified.

"Don't look at me like that, baby girl. You know what that cute little pout does to me." I frowned.

"I'm gonna miss you." Cheryl sighed. I smiled.

I leaned down to place a kiss to her lips. Cheryl sighed into the kiss, holding me tighter. God, I'm in love with this girl.

I pulled away slowly as my grip on her waist tightened.

"I'll pick you up in the morning, okay baby girl." I smiled as I pulled away.

"Okay. I love you." Cheryl waved.

"I love you too." I smiled, walking back to my car.

Cheryl walked into the house as I drove off.
