I sighed, getting out of bed. "I'm coming, mamas." I yawned.
I entered the room to my 1-year-old daughter reaching for me.
"Mommy let you sleep in a diaper?" I asked.
Abrielle nodded. "Hungry." The auburn-haired girl said.
"Okay, beautiful. Let me put something on you, it's a little chilly this morning." I said, going over to her PJ cabinet.
Once she was dressed in some loose leggings and a shirt I carried her downstairs.
"Today is mommy's birthday, But she isn't feeling well, so we have to be quiet." I said.
Abrielle nodded as I sat her in her high chair.
"What do you want, beautiful?" I asked.
"Waffle!" She cheered.
"Shhh, remember mommy's not feeling well." I hushed her.
Abrielle copied my actions, placing her finger over her mouth, hushing herself.
I chuckled, ruffling her bed hair.
"Mama! No." The girl objected, moving my hands.
"God, your getting so big." I huffed, starting breakfast.
Cheryl's POV
I sat up with a yawn. I looked to my left, but Toni wasn't there.
"Waffle!" I heard Abrielle's little voice.
I smiled hearing my family. I suddenly felt nauseous.
I ran into the bathroom, throwing up.
"Fuck." I huffed, flushing the toilet.
I brushed my teeth, then looked in the mirror.
I felt my stomach. The only time I felt this sick was when I was pregnant with Abrielle.
I sighed, pulling out a pregnancy test.
*Down stairs*
"Goodmorning to my beautiful girls." I smiled, walking into the kitchen.
"Mommy!" Abrielle cheered. "Oh." She hushed herself.
"Mommy's up now, you can speak regularly now." Toni said, placing a plate of decorated waffles in front of me.
"Happy birthday, baby." Toni kissed my hair.
"Thanks, baby." I smiled, taking a bite of my waffles.
"Mommy's birthday." Abrielle smiled.
"Thanks, beautiful angel." I smiled, moving a piece of hair out of her face.
Bri ate her waffles with her hands, causing them to be sticky.
After the birthday breakfast, we sat in the living room.
I couldn't stop smiling. You know, the test I took? Yeah, well it came back positive. I'm pregnant!
I was thinking of ways to tell Toni, so I made a little something upstairs.
I placed the pregnancy test on the bed, then another one on the dresser.
So the plan is to ask Toni to go get my glasses because I "Forgot" them, then she'll she the test on the dresser where my glasses are. The other one on the bed is when she looks around, it's epic.
"Hey, Baby. I forgot my glasses. You think you can get them for me?" I asked.
"Sure, baby. I'll be back." Toni said, kissing my temple before going upstairs.
Abrielle looked at me with a smile. "Hey, beautiful." I chuckled, kissing her cheek.
Toni's POV
I walked into our bedroom, looking for Cheryl's glasses.
I found them on the dresser but something caught my eye.
"What?" I asked under a breathe, picking up the test.
It said pregnant. Furrowing my eyebrows, I looked around the room, finding another one on the bed.
It also said pregnant
"Baby?" I asked, walking back into the living room.
"Did you find them?" She asked, holding Bri in her lap.
"Yep. And I also fount this." I smiled, showing her the test.
"Surprise! I'm pregnant!" Cheryl smiled.
"Holy shit! Your lying!" I yelled excitedly.
"Nope. I took two tests, they both came back positive." She giggled as tears spilled her eyes.
Abrielle looked confused.
"Beautiful. Your gonna be a big sister!" I cheered.
Abrielle clapped happily.
"Yay!" Cheryl cheered.
I pulled Cheryl into a loving kiss.
"Hey! About me!" Abrielle yelled, pushing me away from Cheryl to kiss her cheek.
I giggled, sitting down beside them.
I smiled, looking over the test. "Damn. We made another human." I smiled, wiping my tears.
"Mhm." Cheryl smiled, kissing my cheek.
Abrielle giggled, grabbing the test out of my hands. "Yay!" She cheered.
Cheryl and I smiled. "Someone's happy about being a big sister." Cheryl tickled her side.
