Chapter 13

I brush out my black hair, trying to get it to perfection. I have never been on a date before ... or really in love for that matter. I could feel my heart begin to pound with the thought of Sans holding my hand or kissing my cheek like what happens in the movies and shows they allowed me to watch. 

I also know I have to make myself look almost perfect according to most girls in the movies and so far ... it was turning into a disaster. My hair wasn't cooperating, I couldn't find anything decent to wear besides a black sweater that goes up to my knuckles, skinny jeans, my collar, and black converse. I also have no access to makeup which in all honesty ... was a good thing. Never wore makeup before and never bothered to learn how. 

"Ugh!" I growl in frustration, giving up on the style I was trying to make my hair, glaring at my hair through my reflection. "I hate you." I grumble. 

I walk out of the bathroom, making my way down the stairs where Papyrus was seating on the couch watching Mettaton. I made my way down the stairs, catching Papyrus's attention. "THERE YOU ARE (Y/N). I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WERE EVEN AWAKE." Papyrus said, before looking back at the TV. 

I look around the living room confused, "Where's Sans?" I ask, taking the open seat next to Papyrus. 

"HE IS GETTING EVERYTHING READY. SOMETHING ABOUT WANTING TO MAKE IT PERFECT." Papyrus exclaimed, a smug grin forming on his face as I felt my cheeks begin to grow warm. 

A silence fell over the two of us, the only sound was Mettaton's voice as he took a chainsaw and started threatening to cut a monster in half. "So what are your plans today? Stay at home?" I ask, breaking the silence, hoping to distract myself from the nerves bubbling in my stomach. 

"I WILL BE FIGHTING THE HUMAN TODAY AND CAPTURE THEM." Papyrus said with a bright smile, and excited glint in his eyes. 

I gave him a warm smile, knowing Frisk won't end up killed and will be here when Sans and I get back. I'm kind of excited to hear her story about her and Papyrus's battle. I secretly wonder how she got to this point, I got here by leaving the lab ... making sure my brother's sacrifice isn't in vain. What's her reason? Curiosity? The want to escape something? 

I was pulled out of my thoughts as the front door bursts open, on the other end was sans wearing ... a suit with black pants and a fedora. He looked nice almost ... mafia like. It was a good look for him in my opinion. 

A cocky smirk formed on his features, "Like what you see kitten?" 

My cheeks grew hot, peeling my eyes away from him and instead focused on the TV. Sans burst out laughing, taking my hand in his gaining my attention, "I was only teasin. C'mon, let's start our date." 

I smile up at him, before standing up to my feet letting him guide me out the door. "Be back before dinner boss." Sans says before closing the door behind us. 

"So where are we going?" I ask, as Sans led me through Snowdin, intertwining his fingers in my own not letting go. 

"Somewhere you haven't been." He answers, a warm smile on his face. The next thing I know I was out of Snowdin and somewhere else. It was beautiful, there were blue glowing flowers which grew from the soft stone, a waterfall falling form what looks like the ceiling and into the pool below. The sound of the water fall echoes around the cavern, the waters music calmed me almost instantly. The temperature was different as well, it wasn't cold but instead was at a perfect temperature, a comfortable temperature. Lying besides the pool of water was a picnic blanket with a few candles in the middle. A basket filled with, what I assumed food, laid in the corner. 

Sans guided me towards the blanket, I smiled brightly, "Sans this is ... beautiful." 

I could hear a sigh of relief escape from him, "Why won't you take a seat, I'll get the food and drinks." I sat down at the blanket, looking down into the water seeing my reflection. I frown down at it, taking my hands and raking my fingers through my hair, trying to get rid of any imperfections.
