Nashville chapter 15
"Is he gonna cry?" Daphne questions as mom, Maddie, Daphne and I watch Teddy give a press conference about Peggy's death before school.
"I think he's trying real hard not to." Mom replies.
"My wife as you all know was shot and killed by a man who clearly targeted me. That man Donald Stalthold was found by Nashville PD dead by apparent suicide." Teddy tells the press.
"Does that mean this is all over?" Maddie asks. "No ones trying to hurt dad anymore?"
"Yeah that's exactly what it means." Mom replies.
"When will we see Teddy again?" I ask.
"Soon the only thing thats helping him right now is having y'all around." Mom explains.
"I'm gonna head to school. Dallas and I are suppose to study for a big Physics test before school." I mention as I stand up.

"Dad." Maddie speaks to break him out of his trance. When Maddie Daphne and I find him he's staring at Peggy's wedding dress. I feel bad for him I really do. As much as I didn't like Peggy at first Teddy was in love with her and she was his wife.
"Yeah honey?" Teddy replies.
"You don't have to hide how sad you are around us." I tell him.
"Cause we know you are." Daphne adds. Teddy motions for the three of us come towards him and he pulls us into a hug.
"I'm not nearly as sad when y'all are with me you know that?" Teddy let's us out of the hug but keeps us at arms length. "Ok now what am I going to make us for dinner?"
"You're not. We're cooking tonight." I correct him.
"Really?"
"Mac and cheese and hot dogs." Daphne speaks.
"How'd you know that's what I wanted?" Teddy jokes. Daphne starts to walk away to check on dinner. "Thanks honey."
"She was nice." Maddie tells Teddy.
"Yeah." Teddy replies pulling Maddie and I into another hug.

"Landon leaves today." I tell Dallas and Abby at lunch.
"Are you gonna go say goodbye?" Abby questions.
"I haven't decided yet."
"You totally should." Abby mentions.
"No you definitely shouldn't. It'll just make it hurt more Harper seriously the only way to get over him to get under someone else. Like that guy from your dad's concert. What was his name? Brad?" Dallas argues.
"Brady." I correct. "But I'm so not ready for that."
"Alright come on. We all know that you're going to end up going to Landon's to say goodbye so let's just talk about what you're going to wear." Abby declares. "You gotta look hella sexy. Show him what he's leaving behind." The three of us laugh.

Here it comes. I'm about to turn down Landon's street. And now into his driveway. About to knock on his door.
"Harper?" Landon questions.
"Sorry for just showing up but I just wanted to say goodbye." I tell my newly minted exboyfriend.
"No no I'm glad you came by." Landon says pulling me inside and shutting the door behind us. He roughly pins me against the door and presses his lips to mine. As much as I want to keep kissing him I pull away.
"Landon you broke up with me remember?" I look into his eyes and they're full of hurt.
"I know and I've regretted it ever since. Harper I already miss you like hell. I can't go another day without hearing your voice." Landon explains. Without even replying I press my lips to his once again. Landon's hands play with the hem of my shirt before reaching under tracing circles on my back. I gasp allowing Landon's tongue to slip into my mouth. My fingers tangle themselves into his hair.
Landon picks me up off the ground and I wrap my legs around his torso as he carries me up to his room never breaking our kiss. Landon set me on his desk and stands between my legs. I help him take off his shirt and throw it across the room. Landon follows suit in assisting me in pulling my shirt over my head as well before leaving kisses all over my neck and collar bone. I connect our lips once again as I unbuckle his belt and slowly reach my hand down into his boxers. I smirk into the kiss as I feel him tense at my touch. Landon moves my hair off my shoulders before trailing kisses down my neck and shoulders once again leaving plenty of hickeys as he goes. I bite my lip trying to hold in the moans.
"Babe don't hold it. I want to hear you. My mom already left." Landon tells me. I stop biting my lip and Landon lifts me up again. He lays me down on his bed and pulls off my jeans leaving me in just my underwear. Then he practically rips off my underwear before trailing kisses all the way up my legs till he reaches my opening. Landon expertly moves his tongue around my opening before inserting two fingers. I arch my back in surprise and moan in pleasure.
"Faster." I demand as Landon's fingers continue to thrust into me. "I'm almost there." I practically scream before releasing. Landon pulls his fingers out of me and licks them clean before bringing his lips back to mine. I begin to pull Landon's pants off of him and he stands up to take them all the way off. "I need you." I plead. Landon smirks before climbing back on top of me and thrust his cock into me.

"Holy shit." I speak from beside Landon.
"Yeah." Landon replies.
"So not to be a downer but how is this going to work? How are we going to go months without doing that?" I question.
"Harper we'll be fine. Alabama isn't that far. I'll visit you. You'll visit me. We can FaceTime." I raise an eyebrow.
"You think I'm going to have FaceTime sex."
"Don't knock it till you try it."
"You've tried it?"
"No but I'm all for trying new things."
"Just promise me one thing." I say.
"And what is that?" Landon questions.
"That we'll always be honest with each other no matter what."

"I'll tell you what that is not half bad." Dad mentions when he Maddie and I finish writing a song.
"I'd say it was pretty half good." Maddie replies. The three of us laugh.
"You're right." Dad agrees before someone knocks on the door. Must be mom.
"Come in." Dad tells the person who's knocking and Daphne and our mom walk in. "Hey."
"Mom you have got to hear the song that we just wrote." Maddie greets. "We wrote it in like 5 minutes."
"Well maybe ten." Dad corrects.
"Maybe ten." Maddie agrees.
"I wanna hear it." Daphne states before sitting down next to me on Dad's couch.
"Let's do it." Dad announces before Maddie and I start playing and singing. Dad joins in singing a few seconds later.

"How was saying goodbye to Landon?" Dallas questions.
"I'm so glad I went. We're back together." I answer.
"What? that's big news why didn't you call me?"
"Well I was there kinda late last night." I explain.
"Oh I see makeup sex." Dallas replies. I can tell I'm blushing.
"Shhh. I don't need the whole school to hear you." I scold.
"So you guys are going to do long distance?" I nod.
"I know it'll be hard but we love each other and I mean seriously my mom knows a bunch of people on tour they must stop in Alabama at some point right? We can visit each other."
"Well I hope it works out." Dallas mentions as we reach our first period class.
