Chapter 3 : The Rise of Voltron Part 2

KEITH'S POV

"YOU ARE. THE WORST. PILOT. EVER." I yell clucking onto that back of the blue chair. Shiro, Pidge, Hunk and I were standing behind as Lance flew like a maniac through the sky. Everyone is screaming, including Lance.

Then the lion lands on the ground running at high speeds.  "Isn't this awesome?!" Lance yells.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" Hunk calls, trying not to throw up.

"I'm not making it do anything. It's like it's on autopilot!" The Cuban boy called back.

Suddenly the lion jumps into the sky again. "Where are you going?!" I shout.

"I just said it's on autopilot!" Lance looks ahead. "It says there's an alien ship approaching Earth. I think we're supposed to stop it."

"What did it say, exactly?!" Pidge asks, half shouting, half sceptical.

""Well, it's not like it's saying words, more like feeding ideas into my brain. Kind of." Oh yeah, let's just trust what he's thinking. I think, internally rolling my eyes.

"Well, if this thing is the weapon they're coming for, why don't we just, like—I don't know, give it to them? Maybe they'll leave us alone. Sorry, Lion, nothing personal." Hunk asks, scared.

"You don't understand. These monsters spread like a plague throughout the galaxy, destroying everything in their path. There's no bargaining with them. They won't stop until everything is dead." Shiro says.

We all turn and look at Hunk. "... Oh. Never mind then." He says timidly.

I look up realising we had left earth atmosphere. Head of us was what looked like a giant alien war ship. Everyone gasps.

Hunk speaks up first. "Uh... Holy crow! Is that really an alien ship?!" He asks.

"They found me..." I hear Shiro whisper, but I am too busy staring at the ship ahead to take much notice. It began to open fire on us.

"We've got to get it out of here!" Pidge yells gripping the seat tighter.

"Hang on!" Lance yells as he begans to move the lion out of the way of on coming lasers. "Ah! All right! OK, I think I know what to do!"

"Be careful, man! This isn't a simulator!" Pidge states.

"Well, that's good. I always wreck the simulator." Lance says. No, that's not good. I sigh.

Turning the lion around Lance fires a laser of his own from the lions mouth. Then he uses the lions claws to rip into the side of the ship. "Nice job Lance!" Shiro says.

"OK, I think it's time to get these guys away from our planet."

(Y/N)'S POV

Matt and I got back to the other rebels. We both sat next to each other in my room. I was looking out the window at the stars. I miss you Shiro. I'll find you.

Matt put his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry (Y/n). We will find your brother." He smiled.

I smiled back. "And I'll get you back to your family. I promise."

We sit there with each other for a while longer before I get up. "I'm gonna go see if there is anything to do." I say.

"Ok, I'll come in a bit." Matt replies as I walk out of the room.

Walking up to one of the others rebels I say. "Hey is there anything you need?"

The dog looking alien turned around to look at me. "Yeah, there's a space mall near by. Can you go get these." They said handing me a list. Great, shopping. I thought.
