Ch-4 The Red Moon Night (I)

The next night, Ether gets back to his senses and find himself in a house where an old lady was preparing some food in the olla(cooking pot).
""Where am I ? & who are you grandma ?,"' Ether asked.
""Oh! you are awake. I found you sleeping outside my house and believe me you are just a lucky chick today that I saw you and took you inside before those noisome behemoths could see you.
Well! you must be hungry, would you like to try my new bouillabaisse recipe?""
says the old woman.
Ether did not hesitate as he has not eaten anything from last couple of days and ate the food anyways. As soon as he realizes about the last night he praises the old woman for her kindness and asks if she knows the shortcut to reach the wizard in no time. Hearing this she gave him a map to easily locate the wizard's house and packed him some drink & food for the journey.

(Ether takes the leave and we see the old lady turns into the Wizard)♠

When he stepped outside the house he see that the moon has turned to red which means one more night has passed. Without any delay he took out the map to see if he is in the right direction.
"" What ??an empty sheet!! Where does the written material go? The whole universe is tricking me today;
first that weired sorcerer and now this old lady"".
Ether was confused as the old woman fooled him with an empty sheet of paper. Suddenly he notices that some dim and fade text is appearing slowly on the sheet and he quickly tries to read it out "

""Follow the green ones that are still alive
The village of Doppelgangers are hiding to survive,
First find the sisters
Belligerent & the wise
Second break the curse
Make them unite ""

After reading this Ether tries to solve the riddle and looks at his surroundings where he only sees the sharp thorns and dark bushes. The next moment, he heard a cry from under the earth and lean down where he saw a little ungrown plant who was asking for some water as due to thirst.

""QUENCH MY THIRST
POUR SOME WATER,
KNOW YOUR INNER SELF
ARE YOU A TRUE ARISTOTLE?""

Ether took out his water pot and pours some drops on the ground.Meanwhile, he hears a chorus song...

""Wonderful wonderful!!
Few drops are plentiful,
Follow the ones singing the rhymes
Make a hurry there's not much time!""

Listening to the rhymes he does the same & starts following the way. Half an hour later he saw a village from a far distance and started brisking towards it. After reaching the village he gets surprised to see that every person in there are walking with their twins who have same appearance,face,figure and height and they are calling themselves ''the Dopperganger"(🎭).The boy took out his map and read the riddle once again

Ether realises that the he is supposed to find the twin sisters. Seeing him in the village, one of the Dopperganger pair shouted with excitement
"He is finally here", and everyone gathers around to welcome him.

While Ether thinks in mind
""why is everyone here so excited with my arrival I don't even know these people. I think I should ask them about the twin sisters and try to leave as soon as possible"".
He asks the Dopplers about the twin sisters but numbers of sister dopplers comes in front of him and asks
'"Which twin pair are you looking for?"'
Ether again reads last lines of the hint and asked about the cursed sisters.
Hearing this an old doppler said
"you know what has happend to those sisters don't you?".

Ether had no idea what the old doppler meant by this but still he insists to take him to the sisters.
""Humm..well! As you insists then I'll take you to them but as soon as we'll reach there you are on your own,"the Doppler said.

Ether agreed and the doppler took him towards the North. On the way the boy asked what has happend to twins and why is everyone so suspicious about them. Now, the old doppler speaks of the sisters....
