Chapter 13: Back to the Place

We come back at around 5:00 pm later. Hobi and Tae came a few minutes after us.

"How did it go?" I asked.

"Tae has the Tea," Hobi said as he collected all our books so he would return them later.

"Ooooo spill for us," Jimin said placing down his book at the counter.

"Okay, so Hobi and I went to this house where this little boy was dying after being hit from a car prior. His body couldn't handle the pain and he went into shock. In the coma, the family was mourning over him as he was dying, but Hobi saw something off about the father. I used my power to figure out what was going on. When I use it on humans they see flashes of me. Then I saw all his intentions. He planned to use his son's money to pay off drug deals once he passes and the transactions would be clear after his bullshit he was gonna pull off for a fundraiser." Tae explained.

"That smug mother-" I was about to say and everyone turned to me

"TRUCKER!" Jin yelled to censor out what I really said.

"Jeez dad, can't I curse?" Jungkook said walking in the room. He was all bandaged up around his arms. He had a cotton square on his cheek and his hair covered some of his bruises.

"Jungkook!" Tae came up to Jungkook and gave him a tender hug, trying not to hurt him.

"I was so worried." He talked in a baby.

"I'm alright, this isn't the worst condition I've been in." he smiled and looked to me.

"Meet me in my nest." Jungkook's voice echoed in my head. Is this his ability? The room was filled with silence.

"I'll be heading out." Namjoon broke the silence.

"Are you leaving soon Namjoon?" Jin asked.

"I'm starting a little early today for the night shift. Boss wants me to let you all know that everyone is off tomorrow to get you all training with night shifts. Jimin, you'll follow along, but do you're shadowing separately." Namjoon said.

"Yessir" Jimin saluted like a child. Oh God, that was cute. I was gonna make a comment about it, but yet again his duality will scare the shit outta me. I made my way up the Jungkooks nest once everyone split.

"Hey, what did you wanna talk about?" I asked,

He turned around as he was fidgeting with one of his bandages.

"Don't scratch it! You'll make it worse." I suggested and held his hand back.

"Ahhh but it's so itchy. Anyways, I just wanted to ask about your nightmares. How are they?" he asked me.

"Still there and it's hard to get used to."

"There is a part of you that hasn't accepted your fate. What's on your mind about your human life? Any wishes or desires?" He asked.

"Every dream involves my mother and bullies. I'm satisfied parting ways with my mother, but I can't seem to get Marlo and his gang out of my mind. It traumatizes me, and the nightmares are way too real." I say wrapping my wings around me.

"Wanna get slight revenge?" Jungkook suggested.

"What do you mean? You're enough trouble already."

"What have they told about me? And no, it's not like the revenge like we are gonna kill them. That's illegal" Jungkook laughed.

"They just told me that you're a trouble maker around here, but your badass skills make up for it."

"Open a portal to your school let's haunt some students," we smirk
