Girl's Day Out

As usual I did my morning routine, even though it's actually around noon. I'm currently wearing a black Nike jacket over a grey crop top, black pants, and white converse. I made my coffee while the Daemos are watching the TV when suddenly Ava came running. (A/N: not sponcered.)

"Guys!" She puffs catching her breath. "You need to... hide your horns and change into your... human clothes right now."

"Is something the matter Princess Ava?" Rhys asks looking away from the TV.

Ava darted towards me and she grabs my wrist. "Thyme, Chord's outside. And you Daemos just get into your human clothes." She ordered and started dragging me to the door.

"Huh?! Do I get any say to this?!" I exclaimed.

"No!" Ava said then just leave me there. Sigh, this girl.

I open the door and Chord instantly hugged me. "Sorry if I'm abit early, I actually have plans this weekend and I need my truck back." Chord said putting his hand behind hs head.

"No worries." I replied. "Well come on in." We walk inside and Kayn greets Chord happily upon seeing the man.

"Why don't you sit with the guys while I'll go get your keys." I did what I said and when I came back, my brother is sitting on the couch talking to the guys while Ava's preparing sandwiches. I walk up to her and help.

"I thought you said he'll come on the weekend." Ava whispered.

"Well he said he has upcoming plans." I replied.

"Hey I didn't know they live with you." Chord called out.

"Yeah, we have, for about a few weeks now." I said

"Really? What's the story?"

"Well, long story short, we met them in the con after their bags got snitched in the airport wih all of their belongings. And Ava's generous enough to let the guys stay until they earn enough money to fly back to their country." I lied, well half lied. Chord eyes at me with a suspicious frown.

"You know I can detect lies, right?" Chord said outloud. Sh!t I forgot. "You gulped so it's true. I'm sure you're thinking, 'oh sh!t I forgot my brother could do that', or something."

I sigh in defeat. "Heh, you got me."

"C-can you read minds?" Noi asks curiously.

"No. I can only guess base on your body language that you're tense." Chord chuckles. "But doesn't matter, I'm going to find out whatever it is your lying about anyway."

Chord walks up to me and gives me his credit card in exchange for his car keys "Here. Go to the mall or whatever, shop for stuff." Money!?

"Wait Chord, are you sure with this? I know you said you're going to treat me but I didn't think it would be you giving me your credit card. Do I have a limit or-"

"Thyme," he places a hand on my shoulder. "I'm giving you the previledge to spend with my money, go to the spa or something and have a girl days out with Ava. It's my gift to you."

I stared at the card, Ava, the Daemos, at Chord, then back at the credit card. This isn't good, we can't just leave them. I'm sure Chord's going to interogate the guys or something, I mean now that I think about it Mama is right.

"Chord this is too much. If me and Ava go, promise me that you won't interogate the guys about your theories." I said to Chord. As a response, he did that zipped mouth motion.

"Alright. You up for it Ava?" I ask.

"Let me just get my phone." She said walking to her room. When she got out she looked at the Daemos sternly. "You guys be good alright. No fighting."
