We finally arrive at the carnival! While Ava went to get our tickets, I went in to buy a blue cotton candy to boost my lack of energy. I came back to the guys having an uneasy conversation about going back to Daemos.

You know, I'm a bit sad that they're gonna leave soon, even after I found out about their plans. But that is why we're going to make the most of it. I also have to admit that I don't want them to leave.

"I would very much appreciate if we can just enjoy our time here at this festival, and not worry about that matters. I know very well we have to make a descision but I wanna make sure it's the right one." Asch said.

"Asch's right. That's why we're going to make the most of it before you guys go back." I said jumping in after Noi's opinion about shaving.

"How long have you been listening?"

"From when Rhys said you can't function here without our help until Asch mentioned Leif cut himself." I said a half lie. I was listening from when Rhys mention about their plan coming home.

"What are you eating?" Pierce asks.

"It's a cotton candy! Wanna try one?" I handed him a piece and he eats it.

"Sweet air?" He commented.

"Oh I want to try." Noi said and pluck a piece, his eyes sparkled and was about to take another one when I back away protecting my food with one hand.

I hissed like a cat and said, "Mine!" Then continued eating.

"Alright, I got the tickets, let head in-- *gasps* balloons!" Oh Ava..

After she run off, I lead the guys inside while finishing up my candy. Ava lets go of her ballon giggling obliviously with that sparkle in her eyes.

"Hey look their drowning humans!" Leif said pointing at the said humans bobbing for apples.

"They willingly drown themselves?" Asch questioned.

"No, those are just carnival game." I answered. "The rule is that you bob for apple with your mouth while it's in the water."

"Why don't they just use their hands?" Rhys asks.

"Because it wouldn't be fun." Ava responded.

"Fun?"

"I don't get it, where's the fun in that?" Leif asks when the man caught the apple in his mouth.

"Are they going to cook him now?" Asch asks then turned to Ava. "Prisoner!" Sh!t! "Explain what--" I slapped my hand to cover Asch's mouth.

"Asch you can't call us prisoner or servant in public. Besides why aren't you calling me princess anyway?" Ava whipered loudly coming up to Asch. Noi and Pierce said something about the prince forgetting his manners or something like that.

"If you start calling us out like that people will think weird things. I don't mind you calling me prisoner back home but outside just call us Ava and Thyme." I might as well mention in what fun is for them.

"Or Princess Ava?"

"Guys please just call Ava by her name, it's getting annoying if y'all make making her repeat herself."

"Thank you Thyme!" No problem sweetie. "Now here I want you to let go any bad thoughts you may have about humans cause here is all about fun."

"What do you mean by fun?"

"It's like enjoying the things you like." I answered. "Like relaxing and not worring about any sort of problems for a day. Just let loose sometimes y'know. Enjoy life, you only live once and there's plenty of time being dead anyways." Everyone stared at me weirdly, except Leif who's smirking.
