* Demons

Thyme's P.O.V

"Hey Ava I'm back!" I said and closed to door behind me. "I bought donuts."

"Welcome back Thyme, and thanks. So how's your day?" Ava ask and took the donuts from my hand.

"Good and bad." I answered, leaning over the counter as we ate dounuts. "The gig was great, got a lot of cash, but I quit my job."

"The restaurant?"

"Yeah, I had enough of that place. I'm so tired." Then out of nowwhere I was attacked by my dog, my belgian sheepdog baby, Kayn. "Aww miss you too bud."

"Well I'm heading to bed I got an interview tomorrow, goodnight Thyme ."

"Night Ava. And don't forget, you're on trash duty." I quicky change into my pj's and flopped into the bed.

The next morning I woke up around noon which is late for a normal person to say, but got change. I think Ava already left the apartment so I made myself breakfast. Then I feed mine and Ava's children, but realizing that there's no food for them, Ava gave some left over pizza in their food bowls. Kayn enjoyed it but I think Johnny doesn't look happy with his food though.

After that, I went to chill on the couch with my guitar and play a song I'm practicing on. At around two pm Kayn came with his leash, meaning going for a walk so I put on his leash around his collar. Just as we were heading out, I smell smoke and heard the door being opened. The fuck?!

"Ava? Ava is that you?" I called out but to no response. Kayn started barking and growling, fuck I hope nothing bad happen to her. I told Kayn to stay put while I investigate.

"It seems the spirit allowed us entrance to it's house." A voice said.

Five devishly handsome demon cosplayers came out. "Oh no, beautiful men." One of them, a big blue buff guy, held Ava in his arms. Hang on why is Johnny with them?

"Oh look another human and another spirit." One with green horns said. Are they actual demons or...? "Should I kill them?"

"You! What did you Ava?!" I yelled marching to them as the one who looked to be the smartest whispered to Albino.

"Out of the way human." The guy with black eyes and hair, and white horns with a ring on it pushed me. How rude! Kayn's readying to bite him off, but I clicked my tounge and he sat down beside me, still barking at the demon leader. The rest of his pals followed him.

The guy who's holding Ava placed her on the couch. I ran to Ava to check if she's okay, ignoring the demons' conversation of our apartment. Well, good thing she's just uncouncious. I looked around and one who had orange horns and pastel hair started talking to Johnny.

"Hi spirit hehe." A cinnamon roll? "I think the spirit likes me." He pokes it. Johnny got angry. It chases him.

"The spirit has decided that Noi must die." Guy who held Ava spoke. Okay so orange horn's name is Noi, which is cute along with his personality.

"Noi die in silence. The last thing we need is alerting the near by humans." They're not roleplaying, are they?

"Enough. Scout the area."

"Woah there, you are not welcome here. Get out! I appriciate bringing my friend here and thanks but that's it, you can go now." I said to the white-horned jerk.

"And why should we?" He rose his eyebrow. That so huh, might as well scare them.

I made a clicking noise. "Kayn, pounce." My dog pounces at the man in front of me, he had the shocked expression as he fall on the floor.

FYI when I did a clicking noise to Kayn it means don't bite, but when I snap my fingers it means attack or pet commands really. That way whenever there's a visitor he won't just gobble them up, he's just that obidient of a dog. Now as much as I want him to bite them and make them run, I'm clearly outnumbered.

"Prince Asch!" The others called. Prince? And the jerk's name is ass- I mean Asch.

"She can easily command her spirit just like that."

"Get this mutt off of me hu-"

"Down boy." Kayn turns around and puts his butt of the guys face then lies down, Kayn's mouth is hanging above the guys domain parts. "You sir, are inches away from getting your regional parts be eaten by my dog." I warned them.

"Amazing. She must be a powerful human."

"Only those with spirits that big are the strong ones back on daemos and they're rare." White haired green horned cutie said.

"Hey blue guy! What did you do to Ava."

"Forgive us, we seek shelter from the blazing heat of your climate. We mean no harm, only help. Your has spirit guided us here." Blah, blah get to the point."Your friend fell asleep as we- Prince Asch!"

Kayn suddenly whimpered and went to my side with fire on his upper thigh, I quickly put it out leaving a small burnt mark. I stare at the demon who cause this, but that's when I blacked out.

I woke up hearing Ava's scream. From the couch, I can see her running way from those demons but one of them caught her. I grab a frying pan and sneaked up on the blue horned guys' back and hit him as hard as I can to release Ava. Sadly he doesn't budge.

"Not so tough now without your beast eh." The green horned caught me in his grasp.

And you know what I did? I held his wrist and collar and judo flipped him. That right, judo flip.

I ran to the opposite side but bumped into that white horned jerk. "Not so fast." He put his hands on my face with fire on his palm. Oh, no way Don Jośe. I grabbed his arm and judo flip him.

I never knew I could be this strong to flip two full grown demons. I guess in times of danger people can do unimaginable things they couldn't possibly do.

And just as I was about to ran, greeny caught me again and held my arms on my back, to keep me from escaping I suppose. His other arm went around my neck, along with his other friend who held Ava, carried us to the living room. Man, he sure has a grip. This might take awhile so maybe I'll take this chase to escape.

A couple of minutes of Ava's screaming went by, I have come up with a plan. I've been staring at the long sword behind Ava's captive for a while now and could use that to threaten them to let us go. Damn I should've signal Kayn to chew them up, but I could only hear his barks and whimpers from the bar stool. Wait, maybe he already had when I passed out, if so then how did they tie him there? Anyway unlike Ava, I wasn't being lifted up on the floor. Welp thrid time's the charm!

I backed up from the side of Albino and attempt a back flip over him. Success! My hands now realised, gripped onto his white hair, which is surprisingly soft, and kicked his neck and back. Gasps are heard when I dashed behind the big guy to grab the sword then stand in between the couch and the chimney.

"Let Ava go." I demanded pointing the sword at them. Ava's muffled cheers screamed louder then she try to escape only to no avail

"You're quite persistent aren't you?" The demon who looked smart with dark blue horns and darker skin said.

"Yeah, it's infuriating." The white horned jerk said with a ball of flames in his palms.

"I was kinda planning on sitting still, but only an idiot would try to look pretty while still being held captive." I replied, raising the sword as he stepped closer despite it being heavy. "Man this is heavy, how do you even carry this big guy?"

"Yes." Yes? Just yes?

Hang on.. two, three, four, where's the other one? I heard swoosh then swung the sword behind me, a glimpse of white and green flash by then I was knocked down to the floor. Again. Oh boy.
