My inner demons fanfic (Oc insert)

Thyme's P.O.V

"Thyme do you know where Ava is?" Noi asks knocking on the door.

"No." I replied opening the door. "Check in her room."

Noi shakes his head as Asch appears with his signature glare. "Have you seen Princess Ava? She isn't in her room." Asch said.

"She isn't?"

"No. As her-"

"Don't tell me Leif killed her?" I cut off Asch.

"No I haven't!" Leif yelled from.. somewhere.

"*sigh* I advice to give her some space." I told the Daemos and close my door.

I went back to my bed playing a tune of the guitar. My thoughts haven't been organized lately, like there's this pang of fluttery and at times I don't know what to feel. I think jealousy is getting the best out of me. When one of my conversations with Ava, she told me that it could be love but I know that love is the feeling of butterflies while this feeling I'm having is like a stabbing knife.

My thoughts were interupted by a knock on the door.

"It's open." It was Ava. She closes the door behind her and made her way on my bed sitting next to me.

"Something wrong Ava?" I ask. Ava leans her head on my shoulder.

"I.." She trailed of sighing "I just need a friend."

"Go on, tell me what you want to let out." I said strumming my guitar.

"I just got back from common laundry room when I met with Mrs. Oats. She told me that we should stop being so stubborn and be honest with our feelings. I.. wanted to make up for it."

"What kind of feelings?"

"Those Daemos."

"Grown attached?"

"We'd be lying to ourselves if not."

"True. You want to confess with them that you aren't what they think you are?" I guess, normally it's right but this time it's a no.

"Listen Thyme it's not me whose going to rant, you need to let it out."

"What?"

"I know I've been the who normally rants but, what's happening on your side? I'm worried, there are times when you look so empty, even your eyes says so."

"...." I guess it's the right time.

"I'm happy to have a friend like you Thyme, but I'm afraid that you'll suddenly drift away and leave me." Ava grabs my hand and smile a teary-eyed smile. "Don't think what you're going to say. Just let your mouth speak and not your mind."

"Alright." I let go of Ava's hand and place my guitar to the side. "I'm jealous of you okay. There I said it." Ava is surprise but has a questionig look on plastered on her face.

"I'm jealous because you got more attention, I get that you're beautiful but I miss everything when it was just us. Hahaha I sound like a boyfriend after a break up, don't I?" Ava giggles and let's me continue. "I know it's not much but it's like.. I don't want being left out, being all alone again. Heck, I'm more worried that the Daemos have another motives than just marry you or move their people on earth."

"I also have my doubts but I have faith in them that they won't turn against us." Ava said.

"I have this gut feeling that their crisis on Daemos isn't about a monster, more like a magic crisis."

"Maybe the monster is draining their magic."

"But they keep saying to not use their magic recklessly. It's as if they're running out."
