Breaking a Girl's Heart

After that hell of a ride, Ava and Steve passed out, so Lorelei and Pierce placed them to rest at a nearby bench. Leif keep calling Ava's name and clapping his hand seemingly trying to wake the uncouncious girl up. While that was happening, Lorelei distracted her friends by telling them to have some food.

"Ava's not budging." Thyme said after tapping her palms to Ava's cheeks. "Wait, I have an idea."

"Where are you going?" Leif asks.

"To get some water. If I don't come back, I'll try go find Rhys and the others."

"I'll go with you." Lorelei skipped along with Thyme. They stop by a corndog stand to buy water.

"Congrats that you and Leif are together." Lorelei giggled grabbing the two bottles of water from the cashier.

"What do you mean?" Thyme asks, taking a corndog and handing the money to the cashier.

"Leif declared that you're together." Lorelei gives Thyme the other bottle.

"He did?!" Thyme exclaimed. "How.. did he say it?" She asks with a tint of red on her cheeks.

"Weellll actually Steve and Kristen said some.. things that made Leif mad and he defend and declared you two are together."

"Lorelei," Thyme sighed. "I'll make it clear that we are not together-"

"But he-" Lorelei pause with a cheeky smile. "Yet~"

"Yet." Thyme argeed. "He probably said that because of whatever awful things your friends said about me, which you should pick better ones. No offence."

"None taken. They're only teasing--"

"You should go on ahead," Thyme cuts her off. "I'll finish this corndog first." I don't want to hear your sorry excuse Lorelei, sorry.

With a nod, Lorelei left and to her suprise, Leif is giving Ava CPR. "It's not what it looks like." Pierce said pushing Leif away. "Enough."

Eventually, Ava wakes up and after witnessing the couple have a short lovers quarell, they all agreed to go to the haunted house.

"Do you know where Thyme is?" Ava asks while they're in the line.

"She said that she didn't come back she'll try to find Asch." Pierce replied then it was followed by a cough from Leif.

"Hey, are you alright Leif?" Ava asks.

"Huh? I'm fine." Leif brushed off, Ava placed a hand on his forehead. "What are you-- *cough*"

"You don't look sick and yet you're coughing. I'll give some medicine when we get home alright." Leif only nodded in response.

Lorelei and Steve first went inside the maze, Ava quickly brief the boys about what they're going to deal with inside the maze. Walking inside, it was cold as everyone felt a chill, especially Leif with his continuous coughing. They were near a graveyard looking area as Leif cough onto his hand, in his palm there's a single leaf. He wondered how and why did this thing landed in his hand. Alas, he brushed it off as he thought it was probably because of the nearby bushes.

"Hey, this isn't so bad at all." Ava laughs neverously.

"BOOOOOOOOO!"

Let's back up to minutes before Ava woke up shall we?

Thyme walk by and saw the scene laid before her. She puts her bottle down and quietly walks away. When Lorelei memtioned it to her, Thyme first didn't believe that Leif defended her by calling her his girlfriend, but then again he defended himself from being scouted from those girls at the cafe. In addition, Leif placing his arm around her should was comforting, she could see her and him being together.
