UNWANTED AND BROKEN

                                                                 Chapter 15

"His arm looks like he has been smacked hard so who hit him?" Asked officer Briggs

Hannah couldn't think fast enough to answer him, Officer Briggs got on his walkie talkie to dispatch back up and to have child services to come to the address. Hannah was so shocked she went and woke up Mark and to get him to come to the door.

"Mark, Mark!!" "wake up!!!" Yelled Hannah.

"What?"  "What do you want?" Asked Mark.

"There is an officer at the door we didn't hear Seth screaming in his room so someone reported us to the police so I went to get Seth from his room and showed the officer I got him, The officer has seen the mark on his arm and was quite upset about it he called for back up and child service to come here."  "What are we going to do?" Hannah Asked.

"Let me talk to him and see what I can do." Replied Mark.

"Hello officer, My wife told me what was going on here and I want to say that we did not hit our son he is into climbing on everything, and when we got to him at the edge of the table he was about to fall off we quickly grabbed him. My grip might be tight but I didn't want him to hit the floor so that is what happened." "We didn't hear him because we have been a nervous wreck because my wife just had our baby and we were not able to bring her home because our child has health issues they kept her."  "There were a few times we have almost lost our daughter." "So with all the sleepless nights, the sleep caught up with us we were in deep sleep."

"Officer Briggs stood there and looked at Mark and then grabbed his walkie talkie and called off the help and said everything is taken care of."

I am not sure if you are telling me the truth, But if I hear this happening again I will come back with more people then just myself do you understand?" Asked Officer Briggs.

"Yes, I do understand this will never happen again that I promise you". Replied Mark.

As the officers started to walk away Mark has quietly shut the door and went into the bedroom were Hannah and Seth are. Hannah was changing Seths Diaper and changing his clothes to get him ready to get fed to go to the hospital.

"Will?"  "What did the officer say?" Asked Hannah.

"The officer is going to let it slide this time but if he is called out again he will not be alone," Mark replied.

"We need to get ready to bring our baby home from the hospital But let me see if my friend can pick us up to take us there and bring us back home."

As Hannah went to the phone Mark couldn't help but wonder if her friend is a man or a woman. So as Mark sat in the bedroom trying to hear her talk. Mark couldn't help but worry.

"Thank you, hun, for helping us out we will see you soon." Replied Hannah.

Hannah walked into the bedroom and said: "We have to get ready she will be here shortly."

"Who is she?"  "What is her name?" Asked Mark.

"Her name is Linda she is a little older than me". Replied Hannah.

A thought entered into Mark's head of this woman questions entered his mind, maybe she would be with someone that he could be with her for a few times like Hannah did to him. Hannah looked at him like she knew what he was thinking. But didn't say anything because she knew that they had to get to the hospital to bring their baby home.

"Maybe you should stay home with Seth Mark,"  "I will bring our baby home and you can see her then Because there wouldn't be enough room with the car set and Seth and you and me being upfront." Replied Hannah.
