3. UNEXPECTED EVENTS

The next day, Brett and Eddy were getting ready for two day back to back concert of theirs.
Brett was back at home packing the props while Eddy was at the hall finalising all the details from the sound engineer to the table for the props at the backstage.
He got a call from Brett.
"Hey Eddy, how's everything going there?"
"It's going well!"
"I'll be there in 10 minutes."
"Great!"
"Tell me, where have you kept the script?"
"I kept it on the kitchen counter."
"It's not there, Eddy."
"Oh, let me see if I unknowingly brought it along with me......Brett, I don't have the script. How are we gonna perform?"
"What do you mean?"
"What if we mess up or divert from the script in front of the orchestra!" Eddy exclaimed.
"Eddy, isn't that what this concert is about? That's it's ok to make mistakes."
"Yeah, maybe it's all the last minute task that's making me tensed."
"I know. Don't worry. We'll write out a rough script to keep in hand during our exits."
"Sounds good."
"Ok."

When the audience arrived, the two violinists were backstage getting ready. They tuned their violins, wore their microphone ear piece. That's when Brett heard his name.
"Hi Brett." He said.
"Hey, Sid! It's been so long!" Brett exclaimed.
"Yeah, I got to know about your concert, a few days ago only. Decided to come and see you and Eddy perform. By the way, where is Eddy?"
"He's just gone to set the props. He'll be back in a minute or two." Brett said.
"Nice. How are you?"
"I am great. And you?"
"I just graduated as a pianist!"
"Oh wow, congratulations! We should celebrate!"
"Celebration? What's the occasion?" Eddy asked as he came in.
"I just graduated as a pianist." Sid repeated.
"Sid, Congratulations! We should definitely celebrate!"
"Thanks you two. And all the best!" Sid said.
"Thanks Sid." Brett said.
"Hey, everyone!" Rubin announced.
"Rubin! We didn't expect you to be here!" Eddy exclaimed.
"Yeah, I took your advice and decided to come."
"That's nice." Brett said.
"Hi! I'm Sid." Sid said excitedly.
"Hey Sid, I am Rubin." Rubin said.
"I have heard about you on the violin channel. You're amazing!" Sid said.
"Oh thank you Sid!" Rubin said.
"And all the best to you both" Rubin said.
"Thank you!" Eddy and Brett said.
With that said, Rubin and Sid left the backstage and went to get a seat in the audience.

Rubin sat amongst the crowd in the centre and he didn't know why the audience was so eager. It was the first time Rubin was going to see Brett and Eddy perform. Meanwhile, Sid sat in the front row seat.
"Hello, Melbourne!" Eddy shouted.
"How are you?" Brett exclaimed.
The crowd cheered loudly.

"Well let me see what you perform." He whispered slowly as he laid back in his chair.
