Eddy got off the stage, assembled the pieces of the puzzle that was laid before him 2 minutes ago.
(Script, underneath the prop table, changes) He got it, but he wasn't sure. He had 20 minutes before he dressed up as the Viola King.
He rushed towards the prop table. There was nothing under the table. Eddy was pretty sure that's where Brett would have kept the so called script. He searched the area thoroughly, and found a crumpled paper and a pen. He sighed in relief.

It read,
"Sorry Eddy, I said all those wrong things about you. You know it's not true. I had to mask this code through those harsh words. We need a plan to confront this guy. At this rate, our show and friendship might fall apart!
We're in this together, Eddy."

Eddy and Brett knew deep down that they won't betray each other.

Eddy's cue was around the corner and as scripted, he wore the Viola King costume.
And stood on the wings.
"You're not entering now, Eddy."
"Try to stop me." Eddy said. Brett could also listen to Eddy speaking.
"What?"
"I had enough of you. You're making Brett take the spotlight of this show where it's supposed to be mine! I have turned the tables and planned it off: I want to personally meet you."
"Meet me?"
"You have opened my eyes. Let me finish off this show with my rival. Anyways, Sophia our accompanist, has a solo performance after this segment. So what you say?"
Brett closed his eyes in relief knowing the fact that Eddy read his note.
"Oh wow. That's brave. I am so happy that you get the idea of perfection."
The word struck Brett and Eddy. They heard it somewhere but couldn't recall.

So, Eddy walked up on the stage and performed their most popular song among their fans called the 'Viola Gang'.
While performing the voice spoke,
"You both seem very happy irrespective of the fact that you battled with one another."
"You see, we have to merge for the crowd." Brett said.
"We must keep the show going." Eddy said.
"I must say, you both are good actors."
They ignored him.
He got up from his seat and left the balcony.

"Well, Eddy why do you want to meet now? Why not after the show?" The voice asked.
"It's because in the meet and greet I'll be busy." Eddy said.
"See, he always gives so much importance to himself!" Brett kept the pretend going on.
"Didn't you say that you would rather argue with Eddy than...?"
"I know but I guess I was wrong." Brett said.
"Whatever Brett." Eddy pretended.
"Wow, you both are really enemies now, huh?" The voice asked.
"Yes.." the two violinists said in unison.
He exited the hall.

The song ended, Brett and Eddy bowed.
"Now Sophia is going to play a piece for you that she composed herself!" Brett exclaimed.
"Give her a round of applause!" Eddy exclaimed.
The crowd cheered for her.

Brett and Eddy left the stage.
At the wings,
"Hey, where are you?" Eddy asked.
"I am on my way. What about Brett?"
"I left the stage. He is in shadows of the stage for his entry. I don't care about that."
"Well, Eddy. You'll learn the art of true perfection and accuracy from me."
"See, I am on my way to the dressing room. Meet me there. I may lose your signal as the lines are patchy here."
"Let's see."

And now, the two violinists stood to their frame: face to face with the soft mellow music playing behind. Silence hung between them.
