Chapter 6

*The Picture Above Is What David Looks Like*
New beginnings

After a long week, Friday finally came and Azure couldn't wait for her and Jameson to spend time together. She got her nails and hair done and all she had to do next is find an outfit in her closet. She decided to wear a black smooth short dress that wasn't too short but it hugged her curves and complimented her figure.She had everything ready and the only thing to do now is to wait for Jameson. Azure heard her phone go off and she looked and it was a message from Jameson

*Hey babe I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to cancel tonight something came up*

Azure's make sure this is the right number because she was very disappointed after all the work she put into our look and outfits today just for Jameson to cancel. She rolled her eyes and didn't even reply back ,she knew this was too good to be true.

" I can't believe this shit" azure said to her self. All of a sudden her mind started to shift to David. She wondered what he was doing tonight, he did seem genuine the last time they talked. Sometimes when he walked past her at work she would stare at him until he got to where he was going.

Azure wished she would have gotten Davids number so she could text him all night. This weekend was about to be a boring weekend.

On Monday Azure couldn't wait to get to work so she could talk to David. As soon as she clocked in she was already looking for him , she finally spotted him working in the bins, scanning the product when she walked up to him.

"Hey David" she said smiling from ear to ear. He chuckled and gave her a grin,"hey girl, how was your weekend?" He asked.
"My weekend was boring but I'm sure yours was better" Azure said knowing he probably has all kinda girls blowing up his phone.
"I actually spent the weekend with my son, thats about it" Azure admired David for stepping up and taking care of his son, he probably is a great dad.
"Hey i wanted to ask you..." she started "maybe i could have your number so we can hang out some time" she nervously said, the palms of her hands were sweaty waiting for his answer.

He stopped scanning and thought about what she said. Little did Azure know but David liked her as well and he was actually going to ask for her number to. He had thought about her all weekend.
He quickly snapped out of his thoughts, " of course you can" he said, he wrote his number down on the piece of paper and handed it to Azure. This made Azure happy. For the first time she actually felt like this was the best decision she has made in awhile.
Cece still was not talking to her, it has been a month and work drama was in place. I was hearing people saying she was spreading rumors about me which made me sad because our friendship ended over something petty. However, when i thought about David everything else seemed to disappear.
