Turns out the handprint was gone three days later, but I still didn't go back. I like my teacher. Her name is Roxlyn. She's African American and she's hilarious. I'm sticking to her. Mom doesn't seem to mind. She's getting my work from school and then she teaches it to me.
"God, this book is so stupid!" I complain.
"You got three weeks left honey." Roxlyn says.
"Sadly." I sigh.
"You don't want to be done?"
"Oh no, I want to be done but three weeks is too long."
She laughs. "Patience, my friend. One day you are going to miss it." She pats my hand. "Now keep reading."

In the next two weeks before school got out, I decided to go back.
I'm going today. I have on a white long sleeve shirt and a navy blue shirt with little white birds on it. The shirt is tucked in and white sandals. My hair is in a braid and tossed over my right shoulder. I have on two necklaces. One has three spikes on it and the other has an arrowhead on it.
I pull into the parking lot. I'm in my Ferrari but I got it painted white because I was getting tired of blue. I park in my spot and get out, heading inside.
I hear some girl scream. I look up like an idiot.
It's a girl I've never seen before.
She's one of those girls. The kind that starts a mob that sends me and the guys running.
She has glasses that has duct take that says FF wrapped around the edges, her phone case is of me, Mike, Connor, and Colter. Her shirt is from the last tour, her jeans are white and she wrote falling stars all over them in fabric markers.
Even her shoes say falling stars.
We stare at each other for a long time, me deciding if I should run or approach her and her staring at me with tears sliding down her cheeks.
People in the hallways watch the exchange and people are silent.
I even see Abby and Jared watching too and they look concerned for me.
I look over my shoulder and my heart sinks.
The only thing behind me is the wall.
She takes a step towards me. I put my hands up.
"Please don't mob me." I beg. "I don't want to run today. What do you want? Autograph? Picture?"
"I-I-I-" she blinks four times. "I want to meet the guys and-and we can take a picture together and I can get their autographs? God, I can't believe your standing right here! You're so pretty! Oh my god, are you and Connor ever going to date? The whole world ships you guys! Amannor!"
The bell rings.
I sigh. "I'll get them to come to lunch, okay? Just don't mob me. I really hate running."
She nods her head crazily. "Anything you want!" she says.
I nod. "Okay...I'm going to class now. Don't chase me."
She bobs her head.
Slowly, I head past her.
Right when I'm out of sight, I pick up the pace.
I stop outside of my first period and pull my phone from my bag.
Quickly, I dial Mike. He picks up on the forth ring.
