Eun Hye's face flushed a deep scarlet red from the heat circulating in her cheeks. Her heart was almost pounding out of her chest as she glared at the face that is too close to her's. A wave of anger came crashing inside her, as she held in her growing desire to kick him in an unnecessary place. The only thing separating the two was his thumb that was pressed in between their lips. She watched furiously as he pulled away, a smile crawling onto his lips.
"Smile, love. The reporters are watching." He chimed, the last part only above a whisper.
Eun Hye's lips tucked unwillingly, forming a forced smile. "Fuck you, Jungkook." She said through grinding teeth, only audible for Jungkook to make out the words. This was the second time she acted like this, speaking with such nonself-composed words, today was an exception, just like two years ago. He was an exception.
His smirk only grew wider as he watch the girl curl her fist tightly, trying to contain her anger. He knew quite well, if she lost it now, she'll loose everything. The reporters were here to witness their relationship, and if she blew it, their engagement won't come out successful, which won't be effective for their cooperation plans.
"Well I love you too, Eun Hye-ah." He spoke loud enough for the reporters to catch. He tuck on their hands that were still intertwined, forcing her to follow along with him.
"Why did you do that?" Eun Hye snapped at him. Her snarky tone slicing through her usual melodic voice. They were already in the school, away from the reporters, so Eun Hye's voice grew a little louder.
Jungkook let out an annoyed sigh, irritated by the troublesome events that has been constantly occurring for the past few days. "Does it not bother you with all those reporters following and taking pictures of everything you do?" He didn't wait for Eun Hye's response before he continued. "Well those creepy ass mans aren't quite what I want following me around, so unless they get what they want, they're not going to leave."
Eun Hye, with no other choice, had to admit that Jungkook was right. No matter how much she didn't want him being so close to her, she's much rather have done that than have those old men creeping around her.
She turned her head to the side, unable to face him. Embarrassment causing her cheeks to glow a faint rosy pink shade.
"Where were you guys?" Taehyung asked, his mouth stuffed with food nearly spilling out.
"Yah! That's disgusting Taehyung, close your mouth!" Yoongi scold, slapping his hand on the younger boy's mouth. He quickly pulled away, regretting it when Taehyung licked his palm and gave him a childish grin. Yoongi wiped his hand with a disturbed expression before facing back to the new couple.
"So, it seems like we need some catching up to do." Namjoon stated, raising his eyebrows until vivid lines appeared on his forehead.
Eun Hye untangle their fingers and rested her head on her hand, looking else where but the pairs of eyes staring at her. She can imagine their eyes twitching from the high level of intensity as they try to drill into her mind for the answers.
"There's no catching up to do." Jungkook was already being comfortable with his usual disinterested poker face.
"I think it's best if they know as well." Yeon Ji insisted, her head tilted as if pleading them to explain the story.
"Aww come on guys, don't leave us dying from this unfinished puzzle~" Jimin whined as he threw his arms up in exaggeration. "It's like one of those dramas where they end the episode during the climax and make you wait for a whole week to find out what happens!" Eun Hye turned her head towards Jimin, giving him a questionable look about his quirky comparison.
