"so dad?" eddie asked awkwardly, sat beside me. i turned to my father who sat on the other side of me, knowing what eddie's next words would be. "have you ever heard the words, the chosen one?"
i added to my brother's question. "and osirian?"
our dad began coughing and spat the food he was eating into a nearby tissue. "where did the two of you hear that?"
"we'll take that as a yes." my brother says, both me and eddie laughed at our father's sudden shock.
"is that why you kept us away for so long?" i asked, my father caught his breath and turned to us both seriously.
