"Alex!" I call out when I immediately point out her face in the crowd of campers enjoying breakfast, the most important meal of the day. "Alex, hey." I say a bit more calmly as I stand at my sisters side to demonstrate how important it is. "We need to talk."

"Is this about Lena? Cause if so I'm sorry for ruining your guys fun." My brows turned in confusion as my lips twisted.

"You're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad?" Alex mimics my expression now as Maggie pretends to not listen in.

"I thought you'd think I was copying you or something." I ask her a bit embarrassed of how far I let my worries go.

"Kara," Alex sing-songs. "You adore me, I know." Her ego catching the best of her as I give her a warning glare.

"Alex, it's real between us. I know it is." I convey sincerely and as I peer into her black eyes I make sure she knows that.

"I don't question that."

"Then what do you question." I command more or less than request.

"Why her?"

"Alex-!"

"I don't mean it rudely it's just she's the daughter of Lilian Luthor the spawn of satan, an inherent of a multi-billion dollar company, she's basically raised to raise hell on this country." I couldn't help but let my blood boil at all of these insinuations, before realizing I used to think the exact same things. But now I know her, Alex doesn't know her. Not like I do. I like to think nobody knows her like I do.

Struggling with my own frustrations I'm finally able to balance out my tone enough for a calm and collected argument. "You don't know her."

"And you do?"

"Yes." There's not even a microscopic fragment of doubt in my response.

My sister smirked impressively at my quick response that faltered not a single bit. Maggie was now drawn into the conversation as she had a mini telepathic conversation with my sister, her girlfriend. When they came to a conclusion Alex turned back towards me as she said, "When Maggie and I first got together not everybody agreed. They constantly seek reassurance like 'is this what you really want?' And 'are you sure?' I'm not gonna be that person to you. If you really like Lena and she really likes you then that's all that matters. I just want you to be ready for that." I smile kindly at my sister and at her thoughtful response to this situation.

Although wondering which part of the conversation Maggie persuaded it meant so much that those words came from Alex. "Whatever it takes to be with her, I'll do it." I assure both women with all the truth I had in me. "I love her." I added on a bit proud along with a sense of satisfaction to finally admit those words out loud to someone else.

Alex beams a proud smile as she nods her head slowly, processing the information. She sends a small smile towards Maggie as they transferred loving looks between them. Alex covers Maggie's hand with her own as she squeezes it gently sending a wide smile from Maggie. The way they looked at each other like they were the only ones in this cafeteria filled to the brim with people, claiming their love for one another through eye contact alone. All I could think about was how I wanted to be doing the same thing with Lena.

As the idea comes to mind it's like a lightbulb turning on. A smirk crosses my lips at the idea causing me to swiftly thank my sister for her advice before I'm off towards Lena. Returning to the table where she sat I saw that her tray was already taken care of and she was no where's to be seen. As I continued to scan the immediate area I spotted Lena through the window as she stood outside huddled around by kids, all of them wearing great big smiles as they looked up at her.
