Getting Lena back into the spirit of the camp was surprisingly relatively easy, and I'm not sure if it was because she got to play Luthor or if she actually missed the perks of the camp atmosphere, but either way I've got my adventurous Lena back and that's all that matters. We spent hours and hours after I confronted Lena about her behavior, and conducted a plan that would not only get Lena back into the spirit but to get all of the counselors to see Lena for who she really was. We thought through many possibilities and after 2 full days of planning and thinking through the plan, I am confident to say that we have it set.

The plan comes with 4 different parts, number one is to regain the trust of Lena's campers. In two days the entire camp is splitting up into cabins and we're going to put what we've learned about survival skills into action. So basically each cabin is going out to the woods with minimum supplies and the counselor of the cabin is in charge of taking care of the camp site, and the campers for the whole weekend. Because Lena never really dedicatedly payed attention to what we were being taught and because of her still mentioned incident during the treasure hunt, it seems rational that Cat set it up where I was to choose a camp site, relatively close to where Lena's was, that way her number one trusted counselor could keep eye on her momentarily less favorite counselor.

Lena and Cat really go at it sometimes and I must admit, it gets scary sometimes. So back to the plan, during this time Lena is going to step up as counselor, with my offering help of course, and we're going to give both campers the best weekend of their lives. Well that's the plan anyways.

Step two is to gain the trust and respect of the other counselors which I've already figured out how to do that, and until then, you'll be left on cliff hanger. Step three is setting it all in action for step four, step four being presenting Lena's growing experience to Cat in hopes for Cats respect as well with an invitation for Lena to return next year. We have to set this into action because of all the misfortunes that went on this year already, Cats not going to be too pleased with anything from just me and Lena, but if she's got the approval from the entire camp, then Cat Graham might as well call herself a miracle worker. Although I'm the one who turned Lena around from her snobby, arrogant, conceited self.

As me and Lena are getting things back on track, we are currently taking our daily run through the Vermont Forest. Surprising me with how good she's gotten at running, Lena manages to stick by my side through the whole run. Although still Lena managed to get more winded before me and that's when I suggested we take a break, and Lena didn't disagree. We stopped near a huge tree trunk and beside that was a log where we decided to sit and rest.

Meanwhile I took a seat on the stump, Lena sat on the log and for the first few moments of the break we sat in silence. Finally I decided to speak up. "You're improving a lot Luthor." I confess as I earned a look of disbelief from a still out of breath Lena Luthor. "I'm serious. I've been a camper here for-for years and I've never seen anyone improve as greatly or quickly as you have. You've got some potential in there underneath all that Luthor Exterior." I express further as I add more motivation to my tone while I ended with a teasing smile to correspond with the playfulness tone of the last sentence.

Lena chuckles once more as she shakes her head in order to dismiss the comment. "You've got it wrong Danvers, the Luthor in me is my potential." Lena let's out in which quickly I could tell she didn't mean to say that and the wheels began to turn in my head. She sounded too defensive when she said it, or maybe no defensive but disappointed.

I gave into the few moments of silence before I couldn't suppress my curiosity any longer. "What do you mean?" I ask softly, hoping that I wouldn't somehow send Lena right back into hiding.

Lena shakes her head at first but suddenly she endures my many questions to come. "Do you remember when you asked me what it was like to be a Luthor, and I told you it was like a dream come true?" She begins softly as she lifts her head up to meet my curious gaze. I nodded in confirmation as I actually remembered that conversation quite fondly.
