☄Chapter 22☄

It's been three weeks since Brandon left the hospital, he and Beverly are doing great. Guess they didn't even cheat on each other during the times that they thought they did for that crazy closure. It was hard times and it is all over.

The court sentence for Jace's brother was yesterday, he's been sentenced for 15 years, but Jacs got him a lawyer who brought it down to 10 years. There isn't much else he can do.

Jake being his name, regrets everything he's done and wished he reached out to his brother instead.

I'm heading to Paris tomorrow. I miss my girls. And since it's time for them to meet their father, Jace is going with me.

I'm not sure if I'm ready to move to New York yet. Over the last seven years I've made a life for myself here. On the other hand Jace's work, family and everything is here. Surprisingly the media still doesn't know where he is, he's been going everywhere in glasses. His parents and sister don't know he's out yet. And he wants it that way. Until he's ready. But I don't know how he'll take it when I tell him that I'm not ready to move across the world for a relationship. And as of now, I don't know where we stand.

"What are you thinking about?" Jace's voice brings me out of my reverie

With a deep sigh, I answer him

"I don't know. I've made a life for myself in Paris over the past seven years, I don't think I'm ready to move to New York City. And besides, where do we stand now? Are we in a relationship or-"

He presses his lips onto mine, kissing me softly but urgently. I've missed his kisses. More than I will myself to admit.

"I would love for us to be in a relationship Theodetia. And about you moving across the world, no need for that. We'll take this slow. With time we'll figure everything out. What do you say?" He asks, hope in his eyes.

Hope. It's all we need.

Wrapping my arms around him, I murmur "perfect" because he really is.

"Anything else?"

Yes. You have three daughters.

But instead I shake my head, no.
