The time flies so fast. Kababalik lang namin ng Pilipinas pagkatapos mai-shoot ang Pre-nup namin. Pagkarating sa mansyon ay diretso ako sa kwarto at nahiga agad.
I'm exhausted but when I suddenly remember what happened for the past two weeks, it made me smile. Ale and I talked for several times, at least once a day. And I am very thankful to Sefan for lending me his phone and not telling anybody that I talked to Ale. But of course he asked a favor too, he said not to tell anyone about his secret girlfriend.
It's a win-win situation to us so we both agreed to keep our secrets to each other.
"Avon, we have a dinner at the Malther's Mansion. "
I nodded at my father. Ilang araw na rin ang lumipas at hindi na muli pa kaming nagkausap ni Ale. At ngayong nalaman ko na pupunta kami sa mansyon nila Sefan ay halos mabilis akong nag-ayos. Don't get me wrong, I am excited not because I want to see him. But because I am hoping that I can talk to Ale again.
We arrived at their mansion and welcomed by a pile of maids at the door. They were lining up at both sides and bowing their heads at us.
We reached the dining room and the Dons greet each other. I greet Don Uxetar with a kiss on his cheeks.
"Good evening po. "
"Good evening, hija. "
We sat and the foods was served. They made us sit beside each other.
"You look good together. "
Don Uxetar said and I forced myself to give him a small smile. Silence filled the room as soon as we started eating.
"A few days ago, Don Rixam and I come to another agreement. "
Don Uxetar opened a topic. Gamit niya pa lang ng mga salita ay parang hindi ko na agad gusto ang mangyayari.
"As per a few weeks from now, you both will get married and we just thought that you need to know each other while living at the same roof. We decided that you should live with each other starting tomorrow until you get married and we'll leave the decision to the both of you if you will move to another mansion or anywhere you want. "
Nagsalubong ang tingin namin ng lalaking katabi ko ngunit mabilis akong nag-iwas ng tingin.
How will I do that?! I don't even know him yet! I don't know what he's capable to do!
"What do you think of that, Sefan? "
"What do you think, Avon? "
My father and the other Don asked us in chorus. I fidgeted with my fingers as I tried to find a way to avoid this but as I saw my father's warning look at me, I back out.
"I... Uhm... I-I— "
"Excuse us for a moment. "
Narinig kong sabi ni Sefan bago hinawakan ang palapulsuhan ko at hinatak palayo. Ilang minuto lang ay natagpuan ko ang sarili ko sa hardin nila.
I removed his hands on my wrists as soon as we stopped. I walk through the grass and eyed the sky at night. It was so beautiful, the star are shining but I couldn't enjoy the night because of what they said just a while ago.
I don't know what to think anymore. It was suffocating! It makes me hardly breath.
"You decide. "
He said. I closed my eyes and take a deep breath.
"What if I declined? "
"We're doomed. Just look at this, it's another win-win situation to us. I can see my girlfriend whenever I want and... you can call your lover whenever you want, too. "
