Feeling the tap on his shoulder, Beam looked back.
"Ai'Kit, what are you doing here?!" He exclaimed in the surprise of seeing his coworker.
"You just repeated my question. Now, I asked first so tell me and I'll tell you." Kit consistently asked. He was really eager to know what his dearest friend was doing on the not so innocent table in the engineering cafeteria.
"I took the examination for the College of Medicine and that idiot Forth scolded me for finishing the test in an hour. I left him and roam around until I don't know where I am. I sat here and I felt everybody staring at me like I killed their king. So, tell me, why are you here." He told Kit, prompting the kitten to wonder more. Forth and Beam just met a few days ago and now his friend occurs to hate the head hazer.
"I came to wait for Ming. He belongs to this faculty along with idiot Forth. The students are behaving like that because you sat on the most forbidden spot, their hazers' table." Kit briefly clarified giving away his a stern, 'aren't you going to tell me something' look.
"Forbidden? What are they, Kings? Whatever, so did Grandma told you?" Beam countered to which Kittinan shook his head as an answer. Resulting in Beam retelling his not so admirable past. Kit can't help but be amused. He just witnessed two sides of Beam, the sassy one and the vulnerable aspect.
He wondered what did the young Jaturapoom did to cause his buddy to act like this.
"You're telling me, you live with the Jaturapooms? You're Mr. Vongviphan's grandson and you're going to attend this university?" Beam hummed in response before handing Kit his phone and asked for the shorter guy's contact number.
Murmurs started again. It's like they were watching a show looking at the two who were having a conversation.
'Did he just flirt with Mingkwan's Lover?'
'He dared to ask for his number.'
'Look their photos are everywhere in the forum.'
'The hazers can come anytime now.'
Kit can't help but roll his eyes. He had enough. His patience is not that high. He started at Beam, smirking which exposed his dimples. "Watch." He told Beam before standing and confronting everyone.
Everybody was stunned at how sudden Kit moved to face them causing them to be frozen while the dimpled guy perpetrated his speech.
"Don't you have anything productive to do in your lives? Why are you so busy meddling on others' business?" Kit asked, sporting his phony intimidating glare. Nobody dared to cross his sight. They were all afraid that the feisty cat will tell his lover.
"What is happening here?!" The head hazer's booming voice echoed inside the cafeteria catching all the attention. Behind him are the hazers. Forth followed by his squad walked towards their table. He can feel something piercing on him, looking around he met Beam's gaze.
Lam as always will be the one to initiate foolish things. He was being the hyper youth that he is.
"So, who is this cutie?" He asked while hovering around Beam, eyeing him from head to toe. Forth just stared waiting for his buddy's next move.
"Maybe, Kitty finally realized that Ming is dumb so he decided to bring his new lover," Park added bumping his fist with Sharp's.
Mingkwan who was standing beside Kittinan whispered to his lover.
'They were so curious about Beam, yesterday. Now they don't even know his in front of them.' He thought he said that low enough while suppressing his laughter but failed.
The trio, Park, Lam, and Sharp paused for a moment.
"Ohoii!! You're Forth's Bee!!" They yelled in unison plunging to the baker's direction but then froze even before they can get him when Beam countered, "Don't touch me if you're infected with someone's stupidity." He coldly mumbled with a straight face.
The other hazard chose not to join the scene and became one with the audience. They all became silent and anticipated for what's going to happen next.
Forth heave a long frustrated sigh, "Beam." He called the other's attention. "Please, let's talk."
Everybody was shocked seeing the Ice Prince beg. Not to mention, it was asked in a very calm manner.
"Talk to your friends, maybe they're willing to do all your bidding and accept you're mockery." Beam replied but the truth is seeing the expression on Forth's face he wanted to resolve things but he wanted to give the guy a lesson.
Beam statement heightened the hazer team's curiosity but Lam is Lam. He doesn't know when to shut up and he chanted,
"Burned!! Did you see that the Ice Prince was TOASTED!!
He earned loud smacks from his fellow hazers. They drag him out of the area. Lam tried to fight but he was against the whole team. He was lifted by his and limbs.
" Nice to finally meet you, Beam!" Sharp said his greeting before turning to Forth, "Bring your Bee to hang out with us sometimes. That is if you can fix this." Sharp taunted and ran for his precious life before the head hazer vents his frustration on him and beat him to a pulp.
There goes all of Forth's plan for Beam's first meeting with his friends.
It ceased to exist because of himself.
Now, he had to soothe a feisty Beam.
