Beam woke up past lunchtime, hearing what seems to be a serious conversation coming through the slightly open door from the living room. He tried to get up but winced in pain when he used his hand to push himself up. Looking at his hand, he was confused when he saw his hand bandaged and thought of how he acquired the wound. His body felt sore being on the bed for a long time. He walked to the door and look for Forth.

".....disorder. It can lead to dissociative amnesia. Although therapies can be used, there is no evidence-based treatment..." That was all Beam can take. He plopped down on the floor making a loud sound, crying silently.

Beam sobbed as he clutches his chest that felt like it was being squeezed. Too much pain is blocking his system.

Forth stood abruptly hearing the noise from his room. He found Beam, on the floor, looking up to him. His eyes are red and puffy from all the crying since morning.

"P-P, I-I'm a b-bad s-son." Beam stammered in his grief. "I-I c-can't even*hik." He wasn't able to finish his words when Forth pulled him into his embrace.

The young Jaturapoom felt like crying but he can't let Beam see that he was about. He should be the shoulder that the younger would lean and cry to.

"Calm down, Bee. It's okay, now. You're not a bad son. I'm so sure that your parents are proud of you. It's not your fault, okay?" He comforts Beam.

"B-but I-I f-forgot a-about m-my o-own *sniffs* family." Beam still blaming himself when Marla entered the room.

"My Beamie, " She called Beam's attention making the crying lad look in her direction.

"M-mae.."

"As long as you love them, you'll never forget. You may not remember them in here, "She said pointing Beam's temple, referring to his memory.

" But, you'll be keeping them safe in your heart." She sported her motherly smile to Beam, patting his head.

"I-Is Por outside?" Beam asked, feeling better. Both mother and son nodded.
"Who is he with?" He asked.

"He is with the family doctor. You want to meet them?" Marla inquired. Beam reluctantly agreed before standing up with Forth supporting him. "I-I smell. P'can you lend me your clothes again?"
His sudden statement made Forth chuckle.

"Of course, silly." Forth replied running his hand on Beam's hair.

Beam just blushed when he was asked again, "Will you be okay?"

"Y-yeah."

"We'll be waiting in the living room."

Forth went to his parents who were busy discussing things.

"How is he?"

"Where is he?"

"Where is Beam?"

They asked in unison making Forth startled.

"He said he smells😅 and decided to take a shower before meeting you." Forth notified them.

"Such a funny boy, he is sure the son of Baramee." The Doctor said in delight.

"Well, he confused the proctor when he was taking the entrance exam at the University." Forth proudly announced.

"And, why is that?" His father countered, curious.

They were all intently listening to Forth's story about how he faced the exams during his time, entering the testing hall confident and all but sweating cold when he came out.

".....He finished the exam in an hour without studying." Ending his tale when someone interrupted,

"Yet, you scolded me." Said a voice coming from the back.

"Really?! Forth, why did you do so?" Marla asked surprised.

"He said I played with the test." Beam replied before Forth could even open his mouth, digging the latter's grave deeper. Forth knew that although he is the son his mother will be after him for scolding and making her 'Beamie' cry.

"Wait till you get home." His Por coldly said.

Forth looked at Beam who just grinned waving his peace sign to him.

"Ehem.." Dr. Kongthanin cleared his throat to get everyone's attention to which he succeeded.

"Thank you. I thought you already ignored my presence." Sighing in relief, he asked Beam to sit beside him who reluctantly find his way to the spot the elder tapped.

"I'm Dr. Kongthanin. I'm surprised to here you beat my son's record of the fastest to finish the Vongviphan University Entrance Exam. Well, let us see if you'll be able to grab his title." The doctor amusingly told Beam, who listened with his full interest.

"Is your son my age?" Beam asked, his curiosity is at it, again.

This time Forth answered, "No, BEE. He's my batch." making the adults, chuckle. Forth was so oblivious that his possessiveness is dripping.

"Aw, So, it will just be Kit and me." Beam pouted but then, Forth patted his back.

"I'll come to you whenever I'm free." His statement made Beam giggle.

"Really?!"

Forth nodded.
